🦋 THIRD TASK AND CONFESSIONS 🦋
Soon the day of the third task arrived. After breakfast, all the families of the champions arrive at Hogwarts to watch the final task, and Bill and Mrs. Weasley come to watch Harry; they stroll the grounds all afternoon. Me and Hermione visits Harry before the task starts and wished him luck.
I made my way too Hufflepuff common room, to see Cedric. I don't why I feel something bad is going to happen. I told a student to call him out. Cedric came out of common room within five minutes. I wished him luck and hugged him.
Me and Cedric was kinda of good friend. Sometimes he'd give a good advice. He is good friend of mine. We talked and spend sometimes together before his task.
Later, I made my way to common and room and get ready into more comfortable clothes to keep me warm.
Me, Hermione, Neville ,twins and Ron made our way to the stands and find a spot to sit. On my way to the stands I saw Marcus with his group. When he saw me he waved his hands towards me. I waved back to him. Finally we reached our spot to sit and waited for the task to start.
At dusk, the champions are placed at the entrances to a giant hedge maze, at the center of which the winner would find the trophy.
Harry and Cedric are currently tied for first place, so they go first into the maze, followed by Krum and Fleur.
We couldn't see what was going on the maze. The maze was giant hedge. It's been hour as we all are waiting for them. Finally, we saw a figure coming out of maze. We couldn't make it out who it was. Its was lit bit fog.
The figure come closer and closer and we see its was Harry but he'd someone in his arms. When he finally make it visible fully himself outside of the maze. He put someone in the ground and that someone is none other CEDRIC DIGGORY. He is dead .
"VOLDEMORT IS BACK". Harry shouted through lungs. Everyone was silent there. Not a single words spoken. Cedric dad's Blamed Harry for his son's death. This sight was terrific. Moody took Harry to the castle. Tears forming for my eyes. We all make to the castle. And everyone went to there dorm. I still couldn't believe Cedric's dead.
One night, after dinner I couldn't fall asleep so, I went for walk . I don't know where I was going as long as my feet carrying me GOD KNOWS WHERE. Soon I realised I was standing in the middle of astronomy tower. I sat on the floor and thinking about the day when me and Cedric spend together.
If I know it was going to be the last day for him. I would never let him go. A single tear fell from my eyes to cheeks. I was crying, sobbing ,the pain of losing someone it hurts more than anything.
I quickly stopped crying and wiped my tears with the back of my hands as I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around my head to see who it was? It was none other HIM.
Draco's Pov
I was tossing and turning in my bed to get some sleep. but I couldn't fall asleep. I sat up in my bed and walked out my dorm to astronomy tower. I was walking on stairs. I heard silent sobbing of someone as I reached there I saw her.Y/N. She is sitting in the floor crying and sobbing. As I started walking towards her.
She quickly wiped her tears and turned around to face me. Tears were till falling from her eyes. She got up and starts walking to door to leave. She didn't say a word. When she's walked past me I quickly grabbed her hand and hugged her tightly.
"sssshhh, don't cry. Everything will be fine"I said to her. She is sobbing in my chest. Apart of my heart broke when I see hee crying. I wiped her fresh tears and try keep her calm down. She stopped crying. But what she said next it's broke my heart.
"Why are you here? Why all of sudden you care. After bullying all three years. Why'd sudden change in your behaviour. You're confronting me now so that next day you can ignore me an starts bullying again so and make fun of me"-she said to me looking in the eyes but I cut her off with my lips crashing into her. I know by the look of her face she is shocked.
But I need to do that for a long time. I wanted to feel her lips against my lips.i pulled back from kiss because of her shocking facial expression. But what I didn't expectED was..she pulled me back and kissed me back. Our lips moving synthetically. It was slow yet passionate kiss. We both pulled away to catch some air.
Then She hugged me tightly.i hugged her back. I wrapped my hands around her waist as her head was resting in my chest. My chin resting on her hair. We stayed in that position for a minute. Until she broke the hug and asked me something which I didn't want her to ask.
"Why did you hated me, why you bully me?" She asked me.
But Before I could say anything she continued, " I get that if you don't want to answer me. I guess we have to pretend tomorrow like this never happened. Acting as strangers. But before that I want to tell you something.
I like you since second year. first, I thought the feeling will fade away with time but I was wrong it grow each and everyday more and more. No matter how much you bully me, push me into corridor, torment me. I still had feeling for you". She said looking me in the eyes.i cupped her cheeks and make her to look at me.
"Y/N, I like you. I liked you since first year.i know I bullied you all these years. And I am sorry. I can't change the days, things when I bullied you, hurted you and make you cried. But I promise I will not hurt you anymore.And I also want to tell you one more something". I said to her.
I took a deep breath and looked her in the eyes once more as I continued "I love you. After all this time. I still love you. It's always been you.It was you yesterday. It was you today. It will be you tomorrow.And for the rest of my life. It will be you.I love you Y/N". I said to her.
"I love you too, Draco". She said to me. With that I kissed her again. After we broke the kiss. We stayed there talking for more hours.
"Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?". I asked her suddenly. She looked shocked at first but she nodded her head."Yes,I will". With that I kissed her one more time.
I couldn't never get enough of her lips, the taste of her lips. I get never tired of kissing her again and again . It's like a drug. And now I am addicted to her. As much as I want to show her off, telling everyone that she is MINE.
I can't do that because she decided to make our relationship private. Later I walked her to her Gryffindor common room and kissed her last time.i stood there watching her entering the common room. When she did, I left for dungeons to head to my dorm.
