Niall zette de auto op de parkeerplaats, en stapte uit.
Hij liep naar de andere kant en opende de deur voor me.
Ik lachte naar hem. “Thanks Niall”
“No problem. Lets go!” hij zat waarschijnlijk al met zijn hoofd bij het eten.
Bij de deur stond al een meisje te wachten, met een shirt aan waar groot NANDO’S op stond.
“Hi, can I have a table for two please?”
Het meisje werd eerst lijkbleek, daarna helemaal rood. “Uh, yes ofcourse, I, eh..”
“Its okay, we can find a table ourself” zei Niall, pakte mijn hand en zocht een tafeltje achteraan uit.
“What was that?” vroeg ik aan Niall. “Does it happen often?”
“No, not really. But sometimes I don’t want to be reconized..”
“I understand! But you are living your dream now, right?”
“Yes ofcourse! And I really love all our fans, but sometimes its a little scary.”
“yup!” zei ik maar, ik wist niks anders te zeggen.
Nialls hand vloog in de lucht toen er een ober langs kwam. “WAITER!”
De ober draaide zich om, en liep terug naar ons tafeltje.
“Yes sir?”
“Can I have the Peri-Peri Chicken?”
“Ofcourse, and what can I get you lady?” Hij keek naar mij.
“uuhh.. Give me the same as him please?” ik was nog nooit bij Nando’s geweest.
“That okay, I’ll bring your orders in half an hour.” Hij lachte vriendelijk en liep weg.
“This is your first time at Nando’s huh?” Niall grijnsde.
“Yes, but how do you know?”
“Nialler is not blind, babe…” Hij pakte mijn hand vast.
“Thats good..” lachte ik.
Na precies een half uur kwam ons eten aan.
“What a big plates!” zei ik grijnzend, ik had echt honger gekregen.
“If you aren’t hungry anymore I can eat yours?”
“No! Definitly not!” ik moest lachen om zijn gezicht.
“okay, okay” zei hij en ging verder aan zijn eigen eten.
“Wow Niall, this is really delicious!”
“I know babe” zei Niall en hij grijnsde.
