The rumors are true!
For the past few days, actor Timothée Chalamet has been hinting that he is in Hawaii to see surfer Bodie Casanova compete in the Hawaiian pro on November 13. It was first hinted when Chalamet shared his search history on Twitter, and then posted a series of Snapchat posts while, apparently, flying to Hawaii.

It wasn't totally confirmed until Casanova posted on Instagram a picture of Chalamet. He later went to confirm with a picture of Casanova
Also pictures from an anonymous source prove that Chalamet and Casanova are indeed together.
