Lucas's eyes never leave me as they roam over every single inch of my body, a smirk teases at my mouth as they glaze over for a quick second. "What?" I tilt my head, "Don't tell me you forgot about me." I let out a soft laugh that has his eyes flashing up to meet mine.

"You know her?" Lucio nearly snarls.

My eyes flicker over to the brother of my best friend but I ignore him, "I heard you were looking for me." I straighten up, walking further into the room like a prey surrounded by its predators.

A small smile plays on his lips, "Found you." My blood grows warm at his soft whisper, my heart staggering in my chest as he continues to watch me.

No.

I found him but I would keep that to myself only because I enjoyed playing games and he would learn sooner than later that nobody could find me. I was a snake—sneaky, a dirty liar, a cheat, and damn near vindictive but there wasn't a bone in my body that gave a shit. The world made a monster and I was just giving them what they wanted. A bad guy. Someone to point there fingers at so that they'd look squeaky clean.

My eyes find Lucio whose glaring at me with fire in his eyes. He was just as dirty as me, only difference between me and him is that he does it for the people he loves.

I do it for me.

He was lucky to have Loki as a brother, it was the only thing saving him because I would have kicked his fucking teeth in just for the way he was looking at me.

Another man steps forward, catching my attention as I scan his face—alarms going off in my head as I watch him watch me. His brows furrow, "Do I know you?" He asks, unable to take his eyes off my face. He had scars on his face just like me, "You look familiar."

"I don't know." I respond blankly, "I'm Astraea, who're you?"

He rubs his jaw in confusion, "Santiago."

"Doesn't ring a bell." But even as the words leave my mouth, my mind races with a bunch of questions. Why did he feel so familiar? It didn't feel right. I didn't feel right as he tried to figure me out so instead I ignored his presence, moving my attention the that last man standing.

Something wasn't right.

Because as my eyes meet his, I feel sick to my stomach. Why did these people feel so familiar? He looks deathly pale as he scans my features, brows furrowed as he stares at the scar on my face. I know him. How did I know him? I keep my features blank as I wait for him to introduce himself despite the uneasy feeling in my stomach.
