Chapter 11 |The Ocean

Armin POV:

I looked down and it was silent for a while til Eren then said "Armin.. Are you okay please be honest.. Please.." I nodded and said "Im okay.." Eren nodded i could see his face expression was suspicious. Erens phone started ringing he walked over to pick it up he then started talking to the person i was slightly confused. Eren then hung up the phone and set it down at the counter. Eren looked at me and said "Armin when do you think your parents will be home?" Armin looked back at him after he zoned out and said "Im not really sure but i should get home soon before-.... I mean never mind" Eren looked suspicious and said "You sure.. I mean you went through a lot... I just wanted to let you know Armin your parents um they uh well they were arrested.." Armins eyes widened and he said "Eren hold on a second.. WHAT DO YOU MEAN-" before I could finish Eren closed
My mouth with his hand I never usually yelled ever unless I was at a certain point and I certainly was. Eren seamed happier today.. I mean I loved seeing him happy but the reason was because I'm not living with my parents, Yes I'm happy about that but the thing is they will find a way to crush my skull gouge my eyes out and kill me whatever it takes them to do so. Eren then sighed and said "Armin I did this because I love you and.. I want you safe.. I know I promised not to say anything but this is for your safety.. I'm sorry I honestly am." I used my hand to remove his from my mouth and I said "Eren.. Their going to kill me.. now that that they.. their gonna kill me Eren.. I know they will. This was the only way I could-" I couldn't say much anymore before I broke out into tears and began crying. I held onto Eren and hugged him tightly I could feel his warmth around me. His arms were so warm. I was so comforted by him I just absolutely loved him. I then said "Eren I love you.. Too." I then took a deep breath before I pulled away from the hug to look at him he was smiling.. I don't get it? I then said "What are the cops gonna do Eren there's nothing to do! My parents will get out and kill me and-" Eren then said "Their going to jail for a long time trust me." Eren smiled as he finished his sentence. We hugged for a long time before Eren said "hmm wanna go out today with me.?" I smiled and said "Yeah.. what do you wanna do?" Eren smiled and said "First let's get ready." We walked to Erens room as we got to the door he then said as we entered the room "Do you wanna barrow some of my clothes?" I nodded and he then said "Sorry if their a bit big" I laughed a bit and said "It's fine. Where are we going anyways?" Eren smiled and said as he tapped his finger on my nose "It's a surprise!" I got ready in the restroom the shirt was a little big but it was fine. It was a little cold out so Eren gave me one of his hoodies it was a pale, pastel green. Very nice. It was soft and a great hoodie. We walked out to the car as he grabbed his keys, I walked toward the passengers seat and opened the door as I sat down and got comfortable. Eren started the car and turned down the music that played on the radio. We talked for a long time til we stopped at a gas station. Eren parked his car and started filling it up he opened the door and said "want me to buy you anything? It's kinda a long drive" he said as he messed around with his hair. I shook my head no and he got back in the car. We drove for a few hours I could feel myself falling asleep I'm not sure how I went to sleep last night why was I still tired? I kept trying to keep my eyes open I heard Eren laughing he then said "Armin you can go to sleep if you want if you try to stay awake you'll be even more tired later.." he then started playing with my hair I nodded at what he said and my eyes closed I found myself asleep. The car stopped as Eren tapped my shoulder. I woke up and said "how long was I asleep?" I said while jumping up. Eren chuckled and said "sorry didn't wanna scare you but look!" I looked out the window my eyes widened and I yelled "EREN YOU DIDN'T!" Eren smiled and said "Actually I did!" I was in disbelief of where we were.. the ocean.. it was so beautiful.. I've never been their before I'd beg my parents of course I'd be beaten brutally after. I then smiled brightly and jumped out of the car as I almost fell on my face in excitement. Eren laughed and said "Oh Armin you almost got hurt" I laughed with him as I then said "Eren thank you.. I love you so much." I said as I hugged him tightly. I felt so happy. Eren smiled and said "I love you too Armin." Eren pulled away and held my hand as we sat on the beach. The sand felt very weird on our feet we laughed as we threw water on each other. We were soaked so we just decided to go all in anyways. We both giggled as we splashed each other. It had been the most fun I'd had in years. We stepped back on the beach we were freezing. Eren laughed and said "I have towels." I laughed at him slightly as he threw a towel in my face. I wrapped myself in the towel as we got back in the car. Eren drive all the way home as I felt myself falling asleep. I could still feel Eren playing with my hair.
