My Stalker

Moonlight

Marinette leaned against the railing of her deck, staring at the moon. She had changed into her pj's and was reliving her evening with Chat.

He had taken her to a park and they had gotten ice cream from Andre.

Chat had dropped her off and they shared a kiss before he left for a late-night photoshoot with the promise that he would be back soon.

She sighed and looked at the white rose he had given her. Its petals were slightly wilted from being out of water for so long, but it still held its shape fairly well. She would have to remember to put it in some water before she went to bed.

A soft footfall was heard behind her and someone said, "Missing me already, Purrincess?"

Marinette whirled around. "Chat?"

He stepped out of the shadows and bowed. "Your knight in shining leather has arrived."

"You scared me!"

"Yes, and it was priceless," he laughed.

"It's not funny!" she insisted which only served to make him laugh harder."Stop it!" She had an idea. "Or no pastries for a whole day."

This made him sober up. "What?! You can't do that!"

"Yes, I can." She grinned up at him. "And if you get my parents to give you sweets, you won't get any kisses for a week." She'd finally found his weakness and she wasn't going to give in so easily.

"Why do you insist on torturing me so?" he howled.

"You laughed at me," she said. "And stop being so dramatic."

"Fine, fine! I'm sorry for laughing at you! It was rude of me! Now can I have a kiss?" he said frantically.

"What's the magic word?"

"Please!"

"Fine. Apology accepted." She leaned forward and he closed his eyes. Just before their lips met, she whispered, "Don't do it again, though or I won't be so forgiving."

Chat couldn't take it anymore and leaned forward, pressing his lips against hers.

She couldn't stay angry with him for long and she melted into the kiss.

As she stood there, bathed in the moonlight, her lips pressed against Chat's, Marinette couldn't imagine loving anyone else.
