"So, how was your day?" Chat asked as he sat at Marinette's computer with a controller in hand.

"Ugh," she groaned. "It was terrible. But I don't want to bother you."

"No, I want to hear." he set down his controller and looked at her expectantly.

"Fine," she sighed. "Well, there's this new girl her name is Lila and she's lying to everyone that she designed the dress Clara Nightingale wore to the fashion show last week and Jagged Stone's latest album cover. Both of which I designed. I just didn't tell anyone because I didn't want it to sound like I was bragging. But I can't tell anyone now because then it'll seem like I'm lying."

Chat was getting tenser with each word she spoke, his jaw clenched and his hands balled into fists.

"I tried confronting her about it a few weeks ago, but she just keeps threatening me. And today, she framed me for 'bullying' her and stealing her pendant. I got detention for a week and now everyone thinks I'm a bully." She sighed and leaned on Chat. "I don't know what to do. Alya is the only one that believes me."

"I believe you, Purrincess. And don't worry, we'll figure something out." He kissed the top of her head.

"Thanks, Kitty. You always know how to cheer me up." She raised her head and smiled at him.

"My pleasure." He kissed the tip of her nose. "Now, why don't you crush me at UMS again?"

She giggled. He was always such a good sport about that even though it had to get tiring. That was one of the reasons she loved him. "Sure."

As they played, Marinette was so glad she had met him. So glad it was him she was sitting next. He was the best thing that could have happened to her.
