My whole world

Chapter 6

Alex POV
I was hugging Kara for so long and cuddling with her the entire time until mom came back. She is such an amazing girl and I love her with my whole heart, from now on I will protect her at all times. She is way too pure and vulnerable.

Mom finally walked in and saw us crying and cuddling and of course freaked "Oh my god girls what happened are you okay" she hugged us as we said "yes we're okay" "Kara told me her story, and I got emotional which made her emotional" I laughed with tears in my eyes. Mom got between us and we were hugging for a good 20 minutes until she told us to get in the car.

We had no idea where we're driving she said it's a surprise. Kara hates surprises she keeps getting too excited about them especially when the car ride is longer that 10 minutes she won't stop talking and being overly excited.

"Are we there yet" Kara said jumping up and down from her seat. "No Kara sit down baby we'll be there when I stop." Mom said laughing I was in my own world like in every car ride. Kara always tried to talk to me but all I do is say "mhm" or "that's cool" but when I do listen she won't stop talking about how much she loves a certain thing. Today it was how much she loved summer.

Karas POV
Mom is taking us somewhere I don't know where she says it's a surprise which I hate. I can't stand not knowing what's going on.

When we finally arrive I jumped out of the car grabbing Alex's hand and running inside this big building. "Slow down Kara" Alex said "I'm sorry I'm just way too excited. Mom come on hurry up!!" I shouted. Alex is probably fully embarrassed because she keeps shush-ing me and covering my mouth. I didn't care at all though.

We followed Mom into this restaurant, we were seated in this little booth. I looked over the menu and decided to order my favorite, a double cheese pizza and potstickers. Mom and Alex gave their orders. While we waited Alex was texting on her phone and so was mom. I didn't bring my phone so I just decided to look over the deserts.

Suddenly Alex start to freak out "oh my god mom I passed drivers Ed!! I got my drivers license!" Mom applauded her and hugged her. "Now you can drive us to school and back" I said laughing. "Uh yeah no" she said. I was really confused and asked why "Kara it was a joke of course I'll drive us" she laughed.

General POV
The family finished their food and decided to explore the Mall more. Eliza got her girls some new clothes and Alex got new soccer gear. She had her first game the next day. Kara was excited to watch her big sister play soccer.

They finished shopping and decided to head home because it got late, they drove for 45 minutes and Kara was very sleepy but wanted to watch the movie with her family. She lied on Alex's lap and fell asleep. Alex stroked her sisters hair and kissed her head. "I love you so much baby girl" she whispered before Eliza carried her into bed.

Alex made her way to bed as well she said goodbye to her mother and went into her room. She texted Maggie and Lois they all got really close in school and during tryouts. They talked for a long time before Alex fell asleep.
