Chapter 12

Karas POV
I heard mom and Alex fighting about me again, I hate it so much, mom treats me like I'm this fragile little girl. I hear Alex come upstairs, I go to her room to apologize but it was locked "Alex please open the door" "GO AWAY" she screamed. I got upset and confused I kept knocking on the door until she opened it "KARA GO AWAY I DONT WANT TO TALK RIGHT NOW" she pushed me away from the door and slammed it closed.

I started to cry a little bit because of the guilt, My mom came upstairs and saw me crying, she hugged me and said "Kara baby, don't be upset she'll cool off" I nodded and went into my room.

"Girls, come downstairs it's time to eat" Mom called. I got out of my room the same time as Alex, she gave me a little smile as did I. She wasn't mad anymore, at least I hope so. "Mom I'm sorry" Alex said, "I'm sorry for sneaking out and yelling at you, I didn't mean it" Mom smiled at her hugging her. "It's okay sweetie, but you're still grounded for sneaking out and so are you Kara" I didn't care at all I was just happy we were getting along again.

"Girls I have to work late tomorrow so I won't be home, I will leave a check incase you want to order food, but you're welcome to have the leftovers" Mom said. Alex and I nodded. We finished our food and got ready for bed.

"Hey Alex wanna watch a movie before going to bed, you have dibs on the movie?" I try to convince my sister into staying up for a movie. "Kara I don't know, I'm really tired. I'll probably just fall asleep mid movie" she tells me. "Come onnnn, please? I will do whatever you say. I just want to watch the movie with you" I look at her with my puppy dog eyes. "Fine but you're asking mom" she finally caved.

General POV
Alex and Kara sat on the couch and snuggled up. They both were really tired in the middle of the movie but pushed to the end. "Finally...I'm so tired" Kara mumbled. "It was your idea dummy" alex joked. "Now come on let's get you to bed" she added. They both went up to bed and immediately fell asleep.

The next morning Eliza had already left for work, so it was just Alex and Kara. "Hey Alex wake up" Kara shook her sister. "No leave" Alex said all grumpy. "But I made us breakfast and if you don't come it'll either be cold or I've eaten it all" she tried to bribe Alex. "Fine but only because I won't let you eat my breakfast" Alex got out of bed.

"Wow K the food smells amazing" Alex said. "Thank you I tried to make it extra special" they both sat down and started eating. After breakfast they cleaned up the dishes and did their chores so they decided to watch some TV.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Both of them didn't expect anyone and they didn't order any packages to arrive so they thought it was a neighbor or something. "Hang on K I'll be back" Alex said as she stood up to open the door. Now the doorbell rang "I'm coming I'm coming relax" Alex shouted.

She opened the door with complete shock on her face. She dropped her phone out of her hand and the person at the door was talking but Alex was too shocked to even hear what that person said. Kara heard Alex's phone drop and saw her just standing there so she ran up to her.

"Alex who is at the door?" Kara asked before she looked out. When she saw the face she was confused and and also in shock. She fell to the ground and started crying. Alex snapped out of it and helped her sister up while also crying.

"Kara it's okay go back to the couch I'll handle this" Alex comforted her sister. "How can this happen, I don't understand" she asked herself. She didn't want to believe what was happening. "I don't need Kara to hear all of this let's step outside" she said to talk to the surprise visitor.

A/N: sorry it took so long I really had no idea what to put in this so I had to think about it a lot. I hope you like this turn of events. If you have any wishes or ideas I can put in this let me know, I will try to add all of them in future chapters.
