Chapter 3

We arrived at school and as I got out Lois and Kelly came up to me "Alex why didn't you come sit with us, why'd you sit with her" she said confused. "Lois I'm sorry but I had to sit with my sister today" she looked at me shocked "that's your sister? It can't be, she's such a dork" Kelly said.

"Kelly shut up. She's not a dork. She's an amazing,smart and beautiful girl and if you say anything like that to her ever again we're done." I looked over to Kara all upset, knowing she was scared I took her hand and walked inside.

"Alex you didn't need to do that for me" Kara said quietly "yes she did" a voice in the back said. It was Lois. "Hey I'm sorry we didn't get to meet properly, I'm Lois Lane nice to meet you" I'm glad that Lois came back she was my first friend here and she made me feel special.

"We all have math class now so let's go or we'll be late" I said "wait so your sister has out math class?" Lois asked confused "Oh yeah, when she was adopted we put her in a new school and she was more advanced so she skipped two grades but math and science are her best so she has to seek even higher education in them" I said proudly.

General POV
The day went by very quickly, Kara and Alex don't have Biology class today because their teacher is sick so they after lunch they only have one more class.

Kara made her way from English class to the cafeteria. She grabbed her lunch and looked for her sister. She stood there with her sandwich and water when two girls come up to her. "Hey I'm Nia and this is Lena, you're in our English class right?" Kara nodded scared that they might be mean girls like the ones yesterday

"You don't have to be scared, we saw what Lucy did to you yesterday. Her and her friends are total bitches" Lena said annoyed. "Do you want to sit with us?" She asked. "Uhm I'd love to but I'm waiting for my sister sorry" Kara said with a small smile. "Okay but if you change your mind we have an open seat at our table" Nia said before she and Lena went back

Karas POV
I really liked those girls but I just want Alex to finally show up. "Hey Kara I'm sorry I had a talk with the captain of the soccer team because of tryouts today" Alex told me excitedly. "It's okay you're here now. Are we still going home together?" I said as we walked to her friends table "Uhm I don't think so tryouts are right after school and I thought I might stay here because it won't make sense if I go home for an hour and come back" Alex said.

"Oh, okay" I said disappointed. I really wanted to go home with her and spend time like we used to. "Kara don't be disappointed in me please. I really looked forward to it" Alex said annoyed. "I'm not, I just thought we might hang out again like we used to" I started to get mad. Alex and I argued until I finally left the table to sit next to Nia and Lena.

"Oh hey Kara, we thought you're sitting with your sister?" Lena asked confused but glad. "I was until she decided to go from caring to bossy" I sad angrily. We talked until lunch ended and went to class. Alex walked passed me not saying a word. I was hurt by that even though I'm still mad. Nia and I both have history so we walked there together. I handed Lucy and her friends the homework and sat back down.

"Why did you do their homework Kara? They don't overpower you you know" Nia said. "I know but I am weaker than them and I had no choice" "Well I would've thought that Lois told her to stop but I guess she's not so nice" she said confused. "What do you mean, Lois doesn't know about this" I was even more confused. "Lois is Lucy's sister, and I thought because she's your sisters friend she would've said something" I was completely shocked by the fact that Lucy and Lois were sisters, Lois was kind to me but Lucy was the exact opposite.

Alex's POV
"God I'm sorry you had to witness the fight with my sister" I said to Lois. "No don't worry my sister isn't a piece of cake either" "you have a sister? That's interesting" I joked "yes her name is Lucy she's also a sophomore but she thinks she's the alpha. That's what happens when you're the youngest girl and daddy's angel I guess" Lois joked back.

"Yeah I'm glad Kara can't be daddy's little angel or else she'd probably be spoiled" I said laughing. "Oh Alex I'm sorry I didn't mean-" I cut her off immediately "No no don't worry I was just joking around, I haven't seen my dad since I was 3 so I don't even care"

"Ugh I hate French class so much" I said annoyed. At least it was my last class before I can relax and then start tryouts. Lois is also really into soccer so we hope both of us make the team.
