Zackys POV :

"Good move man, good fucking move!" I told Brian in a tone dripping with sarcasm. "Just what she needs huh? What's your fucking problem with Lex? That argument was between her and Matt there was no need for you to say that!"

"Oh choosing the fucking kids side now? Don't you remember that you should be taking Matts side?"

"Choosing sides? I'm not fucking choosing sides at all, all I'm saying is that you're being fucking disrespectful." I spat back to him.

"yeah, whatever you fucking say Z. "

"You shouldn't be so hard on her you know, I don't know why you're suddenly like this with her you guys used to be close too." All I got in return from Brian was a glare while he took a drink from his beer, as usual he shuts everyone off when he's lost the argument.

I let out a huge sigh as I leant back against the kitchen work surface, I don't understand what Brian's problem is he used to love Lex as much as he did Vicky and now it was like he wasn't interested in the slightest. All I can say though is that he better get his fucking act together and quick. I don't give a fuck how long I've been friends with Brian I won't have him acting this way towards my niece or in fact our niece for that matter!

I looked up a few minutes later to see Johnny stood opposite me wearing the same expression. We both just looked at each other and let out another sigh.

"What we gonna do Z?"

"You go talk to Matt short shit and I'll go speak to the kid."

"What we gonna do about him?" he asked whilst pointing in the direction of the table outside where Brian was sat with his beer.

" Leave him, when he stops acting like a fucking 14 year old we'll speak to him."

"okay man, I'll see you later" he told me as he walked out the door to head towards Matt.

As I walked through my house looking for Lex I realized she must be up in her room so I quickly made my way up there to try and see if she'll talk to me. I just want to know what's gone on, we're all supposed to be one big happy family and at the minute it was looking far from that.

As I got close to the bedroom I could hear heavy footsteps as though she was pacing up and down the room. I raised my hand up and knocked on the door just hoping that she would let me in so I could talk with her.

As soon as I had knocked the footsteps stopped but there was a silence so I then knocked again to make sure she had heard me. I heard a frustrated growl come from behind the door followed by some words.

"Just leave me alone please, I don't want to speak with you" she almost begged.

"It's me, Uncle Zacky. I just want to talk to you, please let me in Lex." I pleaded with her. I heard her sigh then a shuffle of feet, she then unlocked the door and peered around the side of it. Her eyes were red and she no longer had any make up on it was obvious to anyone she had been crying, the argument between her and her dad must have gotten to her more that any of us thought it would of.

"Can I come in?"

"Only if you promise not to give me lecture, I'm really not in the mood for one at the minute Uncle Z."

"Hey I'm not here to lecture you I just want to make sure you're okay and find out what's happened." I said to her as I stood in front of where she was now sat on the edge of the bed.

"I'm fine"

"I'd like the truth please Lex" she just stared at me with wide eyes and shook her head, I could only think to do one more thing that would get the truth out of her so I decided to warn her. "I'm just warning you now Lex if you don't tell me the truth in the next 30 seconds I will use your weakness against you" I told her with a smirk, I know this is going to work.
