"How about you come out into the garden?" Matt asked me after we'd finished our long awaited hug.

"yeah, sure" I replied happily to him. I couldn't wait to see his house but I suppose that can wait, right? I'm sure the garden is just as great, the weather is amazing today after all.

" come on then, just follow me." I followed him down the hallway continuing to look at the picture covered walls as I walked. I stopped dead though when one in particular caught my eye, it was of me and another girl who looked who looked my age when we younger. The funny thing is though I can remember this picture being taken and I have the same one in my photo album, my mom of course didn't know I had this picture or she'd have obviously taken it from me. I stood there staring intently at it as I remembered back to the day that it was taken. Just as my flashback began though my dad must have realized I was no longer walking behind him as I heard him speak up.

"You don't remember who that is do you?" he questioned me. If only he knew what I was thinking, he never would have asked that question.

"Of course I remember her dad, if anything that is the one memory I have never forgotten from this family. It's Vicky, I still remember everything about the day that picture was taken, it's the last one I spent with you guys. It was down at the beach and we all played down there in the morning untill mom picked me up that lunch time and that was the last time I'd see you until now." I had to let him know that I remembered things from when I spent time with him. I knew it would make him happy that I hadn't forgotten all my memories from the time I was with him.

"Well I supposed you do remember her then" he chuckled to himself with a cheeky grin showing on his face and with that we continued on our way to the garden.

I was taking in my new surroundings as I passed through to the garden not taking much notice of that we weren't alone anymore. I only realized that there was others here once I had collapsed onto one of the sun loungers by the pool. I heard Matt, I mean my dad shout to me as I gazed over the gentle waving of the pool water, "Are you not going to come join us Alexia?" I thought to myself 'us' I didn't know what he meant by that until the question had already slipped out my mouth and I'd turned round by this point. I almost passed out from the sight realizing that all the Avenged guys, or now better known as my uncles were here with us and I had just totally sauntered passed like I was ignoring them. With so much embarrassment I turned red and quickly answered back with more of a stutter. "oh, u-u-um y-yeah of course."

"hey kid, there's no need to be embarrassed" Brian had now told me.

"I'm not embarrassed, what would make you think that." I shot back trying to hide it but there was no luck, it would be obvious to a deaf or blind person that I was embarrassed.

"of course you aren't" he laughed at me.

"come on girl, get yourself over here now. We need to catch up on everything." Zacky shouted over to me. With that I jumped up and shuffled on over still slightly red from embarrassing myself in front of them all. Just as I reached them all they each jumped up and zacky pulled me into a tight hug, one by one they each joined in and soon this became a full family hug, I suppose though it was just missing person and that was Vicky...

Mid hug though all I heard was footsteps and someone clear their throat, and then a girl speak up. "Urgh guys do you have to have so much man love all the time. There is young eyes here" . I heard her laugh at them, I'm guessing she never realized I was here but I suppose I was squished in the middle of them all.

That's when all the guys stepped back away from me and all told her to piss off but as I now stood there awkwardly her deep chocolaty brown eyes suddenly landed on me. Her jaw dropped along with the bags in her hands as she continued to look at me, I didn't really know what to do so I tried to avoid eye contact with her until I could no longer keep it up after she let out an ear piercing squeal! Suddenly she was running towards me and enveloped me in one of the tightest hugs I've ever felt, I really did want to give her the same kind of hug back but she'd managed to trap my arms!

"Lex is this really you? I can't believe it! It's been so long, I've missed you so much" she said to me in such a genuine way. The smile I had across my face showed her exactly how I felt as I answered back to her, "It is Vicky, I know I can't believe it either but I'm going nowhere and I've missed all of you so much. I just can't wait to get on with my life here as long as if my dads fine with that, of course"

" uncle Matt better be happy with you staying or I'll make my dad let you live with us" she laughed at me.

"hey don't drag me into this Vic!" Brian shot at her whilst he gave her a slight nudge joking around with her.

"Alexia of course I'm happy with you living here, I've never wanted anything more than to have you here with the family!" dad told me as he slung his arm round my shoulders.

"Alright guys enou..."

"er hum" Vicky cleared her throat whilst giving zacky a glare.

"Okay okay okay, guys and GIRLS" he emphasized, "enough of this soppy reunion shit now, it's Friday and summer so lets get the barbecue fired up, the drinks out and all get in that pool it's time we were all a happy family now and we need to catch up with Alexia. If you lot hadn't remembered she's been gone 11 years she has a lot to tell us and we have a lot to tell her. So I think with that welcome to the family again Alexia Lauren Sanders!"
