Over the past few days I hadn't really spoken to Matt much it was just kind of awkward between to two us. One thing we both hadn't done was bring up the fight we'd had at Zacky's, it was as though it had just been forgotten about. We didn't really say more than a few sentences at a time to each other and it was only a basic conversation we had. I'd tried to avoid seeing him as much as I could to be honest, I'd either spend most of my time with Vicky or Amelia and Elanor. Me and Vicky were really close so I'm guessing that Brian hadn't said anything to her about me and I had a great time hanging with Amelia and Elanor, they were so much fun.

I'd gone shopping with them the other other day like we promised we would and I'd picked up loads of new clothes, shoes and accessories. I was all set for vacation and summer now.

The day was finally here. It was time for the vacation to palm springs. This can either be 7days of hell or 7 days of heaven, only time will tell.

It was 10am and I was all packed waiting in the kitchen for everyone else to get here. I still needed to get ready but I knew that wouldn't take too long. We were meeting here at my dads since were supposed to be on the road at 11 so everyone would be arriving soon. I heard footsteps so quickly tried to make it look like I was busy with something to avoid having to speak with anyone, if you can't already tell I'm not really much of a morning person. I decided I'd wash my dirty dishes as the person got closer.

"morning" I heard her say happily. Phew, it was just Emeli my dads girlfriend.

"hey" I replied sweetly. We'd spoken a little over the past couple of days and we seemed to be getting along well. She was pretty, funny and her personality was just like Amelia and Elanors so I think we'll be getting along well the more I get to know her.

"you all ready and excited?"

"yeah, my case is upstairs I just need to get ready and then I'll be sorted. I don't know about excited though. " I said to her honestly.

"really? I thought you would be raring to go by now"

"yeah, me too. I'm just not so sure. You know the whole Brian situation and all?"

"Ooo, just ignore him Lex he'll get over it. He's a dick to everyone at first and all the rest of the guys and us girls adore you. I know your dad can't wait to spend time with you, he hasn't stopped talking about you since you got back"

"hmm okay"

"believe me Lex we do all love you, once you're settled in properly you wouldn't change a thing for anything in the world"

"thanks Emeli, I best be going to get ready though everyone will be here soon"

"yeah, now go go go! And when you come back down downstairs you best be excited or zacky told me to tickle you" she told me with a wink and a cheeky grin.

"you wouldn't dare"

"I absolutely would" she told me as she started to chase me. I began running and squealing as she got near. I'd beaten her up the stairs and turned the corner only to run straight into what felt like a brick wall and land on my ass. Now I know I've not been here long but I do know my way around and there shouldn't be a wall there...

"fuck" I gasped as I rubbed my now sore head.

"in a hurry were we?"

"I didn't know brick walls could speak, you seriously need to eat some junk food or something to make yourself like a cushion. That fucking killed running into you. "

"well you were the one waking me up with you squealing, what were doing anyway?"

"you can ask your oh so wonderful girlfriend that one. I need to go get ready while I cry myself a river"

"you've definitely been spending too much time with Vicky. I didn't think my daughter would be this dramatic." he chuckled to me as his dimples clearly were on show.

"hey, I lived with Val for 16 years what do you expect from me?" I questioned him with a grin on my face to match his.

"okay, okay, okay. You win that one you cheeky little fucker. Now give me your hand" I reached up to him and he swiftly pulled me to my feet.

"we best get ready, the guys and girls should be here soon"

"yeah, I'll meet you and Emeli downstairs soon okay?"

"good, now hurry your ass up. We have a vacation to get to" he told me excitedly.

"jeeez, I'm going dad!" I said whilst rushing to my room.

That's the most I've actually spoken with my dad since I got back here and to be honest that wasn't too bad apart from the fact that my head now kills like a bitch! I realize I've been pathetic avoiding him but I've no idea what to speak to him about, its just so strange. I really should just stop being so stupid and learn to give him a chance. I suppose this next week will be the perfect chance to. Now I do really need to get ready for today.

I'd curled my hair, put on my make up and got changed into a pair of grey studded denim shorts and a vengeance university tank. I'd brought my case downstairs with me and was waiting with everyone in the kitchen. We were now just waiting on Brian, Laurynn and Vicky to get here, apparently they were running late. The more time that passed just made me more and more anxious about how Brian would act towards me, I'd managed to avoid seeing him since the incident at Uncle Zacky's house and I just didn't know what he would do now.

The front door to the house opened and suddenly a very excited Vicky came running at me with a huge smile and her face before pulling me into a hug.

"well hello to you too, Vic"

"shush you, were going on vacation, be happy!" she said to me as she pulled away.

"I'm happier now that you're finally here, like to keep us waiting huh?"

"what can I say? I like my sleep that's all"

"oh, don't I know it! I'm surprised you even know what daytime is"

"okay, I'm guilty of that one"

"come on you two, were ready to go now" I heard my dad shout to us.

"alright uncle Matt were coming, calm down"

"just remember who's car you're traveling in Vicky"

"okay okay okay. Jeez you two seem more and more a like every time I see the pair of you"

"let's hope that's a good thing huh, Lex?"

"I'm sure it will be, maybe not for others but for us two it will be " I chucked to him

"definitely right there. Now get your bags and we'll make a move, we've places to be you know."

"palm springs, here we come bitches!" Vicky shouted excitedly as she ran out of the house. Me and Matt just looked at each other and burst out laughing.

"has she always been like this?" I questioned him.

"oh yeah, I couldn't imagine her being any different. How's the head by the way?"

"better now, it was embarrassing though"

"ahh don't be embarrassed about that Lex. Believe me, some of the things me and the guys have done you couldn't even begin to imagine"

"well I think we might need a story time soon then"

We were now all outside sorting out who was going in each car. In Matts there was him, Emeli, Zacky, Amelia, Vicky and me. In Brian's there was him, Laurynn, Johnny, Elanor, Arin and his girlfriend Khloe. Everyone began to get into the suv's and after that we were on the road, eventually.

I began to wonder what will happen in these next 7 days. Could it be life changing?
