Chapter 14: Hey, I Have To Question.

(A/N : I had a little spare time on my hands so decided to get this chapter done and posted. This may be my last for a while since I need a break from writing. I've no idea how long I'll be gone for if I actually go at all however if I do which I most likely will it's probably going to be a few months at least! It definitely won't be forever obviously but I can't make any promises about how long it actually will be. So this is going to be the last chapter for some time that will be getting posted and I just want to apologize now because it sucks. Sorry!

*also it's the middle of the night here when I wrote this so if there's any mistakes or anything I'm sorry I'm too tired to check through right now)

Chapter 14: Hey, I Have To Question.

Matts POV:

What the fuck has gotten into Brian, Lex has done nothing for him to even be like this with her. Never mind her doing anything anyway she's 16 years old. A grown man shouldn't be kicking a 16 year old girl like that. He's unbelievable! It's the first night of the vacation and he's already acting like this, is he fucking serious? I thought she was maybe over exaggerating at first when she was saying he said something to her but no, I definitely believe her now. I just need to know what his fucking problem is because I won't have anyone treating my kid like this and specially when they're supposed to be my best friend and her uncle.

Quickly catching up with her and Zacky I spoke to her, "Lex are you okay?"

"yeah I'm fine, I just want to go back and hit the asshole though" I could tell by her tone she was completely serious with what she said.

"I'd love to as well kid but just forget about him"

Zacky was next to speak now, "If he carries on like this Lex we'll make sure he goes back to Huntington, we won't have him spoiling our vacation. If he wants to start acting like a fucking 12 year old he can do that at home on his own.

"thanks guys, I don't know how I ever coped with out youse!"

"well all that matters now is that we're always here for you no matter what"

"thanks uncle Z"

"I love you Lex and I'm so pleased you're back here with me" I told her as I put my arm around her shoulders.

"I love you too dad" she smiled up to me. Woah, wait a minute! She just called me dad!

"you just called me dad?" it came out before I could stop it, I couldn't help it.

"well yeah you are my dad, would you rather I called you Matt or something?" she suddenly looked shy again, damn I never ment for that to happen!

"no! No, definitely not. Dads perfect" I told her with a huge smile on my face, that feeling I got when she actually called me dad was better than anything I've ever felt before. It was amazing finally hearing it, having my kid call me dad.

"well dad it is then"

The three of us, Amelia and Emeli continued walking and talking until we got back to our rooms.

"did you guys bring any movies with you?" zacky asked us. I know I hadn't but I didn't know if the other had I turned so I turned towards them and waited for them to answer.

"yeah, I brought some" lex answered him.

"you want to bring them to my room and we can have a movie night if you guys are up for it?" zacky offered us all.

"its your choice Lex, what do you want to do?"

"yeah definitely, I want to remember this night as being good, instead of thinking about what just happened downstairs"
