You were walking into school making sure you had all your books, your bag on your stomach and your eyes constantly glancing in front of you to see where you were going. You start to hear faint footsteps, they were awfully fast but you figured someone was just running late to their class so you didn't bother looking behind you.

All of a sudden you felt something push you from the back. You jolted forward catching yourself. You turn to look behind you obviously aggravated to see a boy on the floor. He looked like he was.... crying. He was hiccuping and trying to look for his glasses which were on the opposite side of where he was reaching.

You chuckled and grabbed them. Not knowing his eyesight wasn't that good, you stood in front of him holding the glasses towards him. He looked at you, squinting his eyes and rubbing them. He has never seen your figure before.

"I-I'm sorry my sight isn't the best.... w-who are you?"

His voice was quiet and soft, it made your heart skip a beat. You didn't answer him, instead you placed the glasses on his face yourself. Once they were on, he adjusted them a little and looked at you again. He saw that you were a little annoyed and your books were scattered all over the ground.

"Oh! Uhm my apologies... for running into you. I d-didn't mean it"

"It's fine, just be careful next time ok?"

He's never been approached with such peace. He gulped and nodded.

"C-can I help you with y-your books?"

You shook your head no and gave him a smile but he helped you anyway.

As he was picking up your books he glanced at you again, admiring the calm look you gave off. You caught him staring and giggled. His face turned red and he looked back at the ground. He handed you your last book and stood in front of you.

"Uh... I'm Lin b-by the way"

You tilt your head to look at him

"Thats a pretty name.."

"Are you new?"

"Well i haven't seen you around before and i know practically everyone in this school, if you'd like i can get you to your first class"

"Also, I know it's not my business but... why were you crying"

He looked behind you checking the area

"Well... my sister was walking with me and she told me that she was moving away in.... 2 days. I didn't really know w-what to say so I just ran off..."

You slowly reached to pat his head
