You walk into the large plain building, rusty pipes at every corner. You had decided to adopt a hybrid, which were becoming more and more popular these days, the facility is sick unfortunately. They get payed good money from multiple women and gentlemen's clubs for workers but the workers themselves get payed very little. Anything for money you guessed. Walking into the building, you were greeted to a rather strong scent, like someone had recently sprayed a bottle of febreeze. Turning your eyes to the front desk, the man greets you tiredly

"Welcome Ma'am... how can I help you today?"

"Hi um I want to adopt?"

The mans eyes widened a bit, and his mood quickly brightened,

"Well then! I must ask you a question first. Are you looking for a cat or dog?"

"Hmmm... which breed do you have a bit more of?"

"We have a lot of dogs, the cats are all being given to..."

His eyes lowered

"I know... I'll take a dog though!"

"W-wonderful! Follow me!"

The man was short, at least to you, but you were quite tall so everyone was short to you. The man stopped in front of a light green door that read "dogs".

"Please sit right here ma'am! I won't be long"

The man scurried inside, you pressed your ear against the door but you couldn't hear anything that they were saying. You sighed, waiting for the man to come back out, not so long later he peeled his head out the door

"You can come in!"

You were greeted by a couple of hybrids

You reached out to pet one of them

"Ma'am? Could you come with me?"

You followed the front desk man, giggling at the few hybrids following you.

"So basically I'm gonna leave you alone to figure out who you would like to adopt, once you have your choice tell me their names and I'll find papers for you to fill out"

You nodded in response giving him a warm smile.
You were petting and laughing with the hybrids, asking them how it has been like in the adoption center and if they knew anything about the cats. You also asked why there were so many males in here.

"We'll all the girls were taken... we don't know by who though!"

One of the hybrids responded. You quickly realized where these female hybrids were being taken and cringed.

"Ruka? Don't you want to see the mistress who's here to adopt?"

You turned your eyes to the one hybrid sitting in a small corner, playing with his fingers. He had dark brown silky hair that went down a bit past his shoulders and his droopy matching ears, his tail was still and tucked around him. Intrigued, you approached him slowly, realizing that some of his hair was covering his face too.
