Although all the clothes he was wearing were yours, they did look like his, and your sense of style satisfied the boy.
As you both were driving to the front of the mall, Ruka was feeling weird, like a tingly feeling in his chest. He whimpered for your help,
"Hm? What's wrong?"
"My chest feels weird..."
"Hm..."
You felt his chest and his heart was pounding, was he nervous? What was wrong?
"Your heart is pounding pup, are you ok?"
He nodded in response
"Well if this continues while we're in the mall tell me ok?"
"Ok..."
You both stepped into the large building, getting stares everywhere, there were hybrids holding bags and had collars with leads being pulled and yanked. One hybrid was half naked, and the owner kept publicly degrading them... what a sick system...
Ruka felt a wave of excitement though, he's never seen so many clothes in his life, or any ceiling this tall, or this many glistening lights. It was overwhelmingly nice. You grabbed his hand and swiftly brought him into one store. It was zumies, you figured it might have some more hats or sweaters that he might like.
"Ruka? You can look around in this store as much as you want, and once you think you're done meet me at this counter, ok?"
Ruka nodded obediently
"Good boy, ok go go!"
As you were going through racks of shirts and merchandise, a store worker approached you,
"Is he yours?"
"I'm sorry?" You responded
"Is he your pet?"
"Oh, yeah why?"
"I'm surprised he doesn't have a leash.. or a collar, did you steal him?"
