"Her Majesty has entered! Please remain calm!" came the command.

The voice of the Queen's assistant echoed off the tall, neon pillars and the acrylic paintings that adorned the chamber walls. These paintings depicted key moments in the nation's history, battles, coronations, and legendary acts of valour. One such painting showed Queen Savannah IV herself, depicted amid a famous military campaign.

Queen Savannah IV, the fourth monarch of the Alervon line, stood firmly at the centre of the chamber, seated on a lavish ottoman. It was upholstered in ornate golden fabric, padded with the softest wool. She sat upon the throne in the company of her royal nobles, members of parliament, senior military officers and finally, a messenger slowly approaching her.

"Based on the reports we've received from the ARN Wunderle, they encountered an unidentified flying object performing several passes over their vessel. The flying craft had attempted to communicate with the ship through light signals," the messenger reported.

Though Savannah had never served in the military, her authority as monarch made her a central figure in matters of state. Turning to the Head of the Navy, Lady Jeba Lee, who returned her gaze with a respectful nod, Savannah spoke gently:

"The craft managed to broadcast back to one of our patrolling fleets using light signals, morse code. That is our standard method for ship-to-ship communication, is it not?"

Lady Jeba Lee nodded but showed visible confusion. The object's origin and intent were unclear, and no satisfactory explanation had yet emerged. This was, after all, the first time such contact had been reported. Given that their world had remained isolated since the dawn of civilization since humanity first charted the seas and carved out nations, Savannah knew she had to tread carefully. First contact could change everything.

As Queen Savannah considered the implications, she noticed the imposing figure of Captain Rosemary Filler, commander of the First Royal Wyvern Guard Squadron. The captain and those accompanying her bowed deeply. Standing at 6'1", Rosemary's radiant golden hair and polished armour made her an unmistakable presence. Decorated for bravery, she was both a symbol and a leader.

She spoke clearly and without hesitation:

"Your Majesty, what would you have us do?"

"Rosemary", the Queen replied, "if that object can be guided to land on one of your wyvern airstrips, I want a wyvern dispatched to intercept it. Make contact if possible, and escort it to the nearest airbase."

Bringing the object to the capital seemed absurd to many. The mere suggestion was shocking. Nearby aristocrats, unaware of what this "monster" truly was, reacted with visible disapproval.

Why would Queen Savannah choose such a plan?

The assembly rose again and bowed, though Rosemary and her squad were hesitant. They believed this course of action might expose the nation's heart to grave danger.

"Those flying crafts must be from the First Civilisation!" someone cried out. "For the sake of our country, we must oppose this order!"

Savannah remained composed.

"As you wish, Your Majesty," Rosemary said finally, her voice even. "With one caveat: if the object exhibits any signs of hostility, we will respond in self-defence."
