Jason's POV

"Ahhh, what a wonderful year. Max Verstappen is world champion, my brother finally asks someone out, and Percy's finally going to kill Luke." One of the restaurant's owners -the one with the beard and slightly curly hair- said.

Everyone, including the three owners of the restaurant, besides Reyna, Percy and Nico, was hidden in some safe room the restaurant had.

They were watching their three friends on the monitors in the safe room, which showed them a live feed from hidden security camera's outdoors.

It was an odd sight, seeing Percy, Nico and Reyna talk on the monitors, all three of them armed to the teeth.

Nico held to massive, pitch black Desert Eagles, extra magazines hanging everywhere on his body, hiding the body armour he wore underneath his clothes.

Reyna wore the same body armour, along with a tactical fully-automatic rifle, she'd called it an "AUG", and multiple daggers and throwing knives.

Percy was an odd one though. He wore identical armour to the other two, but, for some reason, he'd seemingly decided to go back to the days of the Roman Empire. He sat on his chair, looking relaxed as ever, holding his bronze sword, Riptide, in one hand, and in the other he held a gargantuan golden trident.

Hazel had mentioned he looked like a Greek or Roman god, and Jason had to agree. If he were sat on a throne with a crown, he could be easily mistaken for Neptune or Poseidon, whichever name one prefers to use.

"Percy..." Nico's voice sounded through the monitor. Jason saw Will shift uncomfortably, and he could tell it was because of how cautious Nico's voice sounded. "I think... we might need the other guy."

Reyna laughed, but it didn't sound like a happy laugh. "You make it sound like he's Bruce Banner."

"My girlfriend is most likely about to be killed, but at least she's still got a dry sense of humour." Thalia mumbled, raising her hand in fake celebration.

"She's not gonna die." One of the owners -the girl- spoke.

"How do you know?" Will asked, sounding slightly ticked off.

"If all else fails, Percy's spite is gonna give them the win." The boy with the beard replied. "To be honest, they'll probably survive purely to spite Luke." That confused Jason even more.

The owners with the beard then mumbled something even more confusing, which only Jason seemed to hear. "Plus I get to decide what happens anyways."

They suddenly fell quiet again as the other three began talking again.

"If anyone tries going inside that restaurant and hurts them, I won't be able to control whether or not he comes out." Percys voice rang through the room. He sounded unsure of himself.

"Well we're going to have to kill him." Nico reasoned.

"And Octavian, the bastard." Reyna added, sounding sour.

"I love these casual conversations about straight up murder." Percy sighed in fake content, drawing a chuckle from both Nico and Reyna.

Suddenly, multiple black SUV's showed up.

"Tinted windows, black SUV's, tailgating..." Leo counted up. "Yup, definitely the bad guys."

"Do you ever stop making jokes?" Calypso rolled her eyes. "Remind me why I agreed to go on a date with you?"
