It's been four weeks since his football injury. His amnesia hasn't worn off, and his legs haven't walked a step since. I miss him, not his body, him.

As I pull up to his house I notice his mom sitting on the porch, drinking a cup of coffee.

"Hi Anna." Mom said solemnly.

"What's a matter?" I skip the cheesy talk and get right to the point.

"Well. Honey," she took a breath in, "I think it's best if you don't see Matthew anymore."

I was shocked, "Why!"

"He obviously won't remember you ever again so there is no use in trying." She stood up.

"Oh my gosh. I can't believe you jerk." I stood up too.

"I will not tolerate this rudeness in my own property." She yelled.

"Who's going to be there for your son when he recovers? Nobody, cause you have given up on him and kicked me out as well!!!" I grabbed my keys, and got into the truck. Wow, I've never seen her so evil.
She stood on her porch flipping me off, I ignore her and race home.
