Mathew's dad drove him to my house, since his mom and I aren't really good with each other right now.

"Hi Matthew!" I open the front door, he was walking now, but on crouches.

"Hey Anna." First time he called me Anna since the incident.

"Come in! Stew is cooking." I didn't want to mention that it was his favorite meal I made.

Dad took a bowl of food into his room and left me and Matthew alone in the dining room. We ate in silence.

"You look very pretty." He said right before he slurped on some stew.

"Thank you." I blushed.

"Can you tell me a story, like back when I remembered?"

"Well. On our first date, you were so nervous, that you accidentally forgot to ask for dessert without peanuts. So we ended up in the hospital room on our first date." We both laughed, and I continued to tell stories.

"Lets go up to my room." I helped him up and into my room.

My light blue walls still hung with pictures of him and I. We sat on the bed, staring into each others eyes.

"Hey I just remembered something!" He said after a while.

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

We spent the rest of the evening laying in bed, just simply cuddling. I couldn't help but wondering what I would be doing right now, if Mathew have never made the varsity team.

"I miss you." I gulped.

"I miss me too." He whispered.
