Summer came quickly after our first, and more signs became noticeable when his death date cam closer. He walked slower and talked more about death.

I sat in the chapel thinking these thoughts, because this was my wedding day. It was a private wedding, parents, Kendra and Blake, and the justice of the peace to marry us.

I stood in the same dress I wore to prom. Our wedding wasn't special, but now we're legally wed. Matt's parents cried, but dad bawled.

"I do." Ended the service, and we drove home in my truck without saying a word.

Mathew stared at me then his eyes opened wide. Pulling over I looked at him, "Are you okay babe?"

He opened his mouth to respond, but a trickle of blood came out.

"Oh my gosh Mathew, babe, let me call 911." I frantically started to pull out my phone.

"N-no. It's my time, please don't. " He reached for my phone.

The blood trickled from his mouth onto his white shirt.

"No no no no baby please don't." I choke on my words and became weak.

"I love you Anabelle. But I'm leaving now, I don't want to be a vegetable on life support." The blood came down more and more. I pull off his seat belt and his suit jacket.

"Babe.." I cried.

He smiled and grabbed my hand. His body started to shake all over like he was bring thrown around.

"I love you so much Mathew Drake Horn." His eyes closed and he coughed up more blood.

"I love you more Anabelle Rose Smith." Mathew coughed for his last time, and his hand let go.

My world stopped.

"He was too young!!! Dammit he was too young." I beat my hands against the steering wheel as his lifeless body made it worse.

Weak, I pulled open the door and slid out yelling for help.

He was too young.
