Third Person POVBoth of them were seriously confused yet ecstatic at the same time. A strange mix of emotions that surprisingly worked in this situation. Their confusion was overpowered by their joy of seeing one another again.
Kai ran outside, sprinting to embrace the woman. They wrapped their arms tightly around each other, but the happy moment was put to a halt when Minx jolted and backed away from him. He didn't understand why until he felt the calming wave of magic flowing through him. "But how is this possible?" He thought.
They stared at one another for a moment. Minx felt beyond stupid, and slightly lowered her head in embarrassment. She knew Kai was a siphoner. She's known that for, what, a year or so? Her posture straightened when Kai began inching towards her, acting like she was some sort of dangerous animal.
"How?" He grabbed her hands, this time holding back his ability so as not to hurt her. "How is there magic in you right now? It's like you gained powers overnight.. like Spiderman or something.. OH MY GOD WERE YOU BITTEN BY A QUESTIONABLE LOOKING SPIDER ANY TIME RECENTLY?"
Minx snickered and shook her head. Sometimes, she wished she could see what was going on in his head. "No, I haven't been bitten by anything for like 2 months... well, besides you." She cheekily winked and made an over exaggerated bite gesture.
Kai bit his lip to stop himself from smiling. He didn't have any issues with smiling, only when it came to just how big his smile got around her.
They stood together quietly, embracing the sense of calmness. It was nice for him to be in her presence once again, just as it was nice for her too. "We need to figure out a place to stay or else we'll be living on the streets for a bit. Do you think there are any cheap motels near here?"
He said nothing, instead tightening his grip on her hand and leading her down a path. It led to a small, abandoned cottage. Kai had been coming to it a lot more recently, so the place wasn't completely horrific. There were vines growing on the outside, dead rose bushes surrounding the foundation.
He led her into the cottage and plopped down on a couch, stretching his legs out, a groan filling the silent area. "Soooo, why are you all magical now? Are you a werewolf?.. Maybe even a vampire? Hmm, that would pose an issue. You see, vampires aren't really my thing-"
She cut him off, putting her hand over his mouth. "You talk too much, Kai Parker. No, I'm not a Werewolf or a Vampire. In fact, you'll be happy to know that I am now a certified Witch!"
The man's mouth parted, his eyes widening a size or two. "A witch?" He blinked, his astonishment clear. "How did you manage to do that?"
"Long story short, I met this other Witch who then agreed to help me become one as well. It was supposed to be temporary, but as you can see we came across some.. setbacks."
"So you're a magical being now too? That's pretty cool. Does that mean I can take a tiny bit of your magic every now and then?"
Oh no, that wouldn't do at all. See, there was one thing Minx forgot to mention to him. When they had hugged and he sucked her magical juice-box, she hadn't felt any excruciating pain. She'd go as far as to say it was almost pleasurable. Basically, she felt the complete opposite than what most others did. There must've been a logical reason to the issue, but she couldn't think of anything.
"Uh.. We'll see, Parker. Nevermind that, where are we going to go? We can't just stay here for who knows how long."
He bit his lip, his fingers thoughtfully drumming against the side of her leg. "How about I teach you some spells to help this place look better, and then we'll see if it's good enough to live in afterwards." She looked at his outstretched hand and grasped it with her own. They stared at each other, both wanting to release all of the tension from their time apart.
He hummed and hooked an arm around her waist, pulling her down on top of him. "We could always practice some other moves first, Minxy." His fingertips traced the curve of her exposed waist, the smooth skin feeling like heaven underneath his touch.
"I don't think this is the time. We need to start practicing those spells as soon as possible because I just gained these powers and I'm not sure I'd be able to do what you're asking me to so I just think-" He cut her off, his lips gently pressing against hers. He let his hand wander up to the soft strands of her curly hair, slowly running his fingers down the long locks. She laid her hands on his torso, feeling his toned stomach and the dip of his v-line.
He kept their makeout going at a slow pace, gradually getting more aggressive as time went on. She dragged his bottom lip between her teeth, him giving her a heated stare in return. Their skin buzzed, happy to be able to touch the other again. Minx felt a strange sensation, almost as if her magic was trying to reach out to the man below her. Kai stopped holding himself back, accidentally siphoning some of her magic. However, he didn't expect her to release a low moan. Yet another occurrence that had surprised him today.
He chose to ask her about it later and captured her lips into another lustful kiss. She shared his passion, hurriedly moving her lips against his own.
He grabbed the bottom of her shirt and tugged, but she put her hand over his and moved away from the kiss. "Kai we can't do this right now; we have work to do."
He sighed, sitting up and smoothing out his clothes. She stood up and looked around, noticing just how dusty everything was. An overturned armchair caught her attention, so she muttered motus and watched the heavy thing lift itself up.
"You already know how to do a MOTUS and you didn't tell me?!"
"IT SLIPPED MY MIND IM SORRY!"
"YEAH, YOU SHOULD BE! THIS SEEMS LIKE THE KIND OF THING YOU SHOULD TELL ME!"
They both went silent, but it didn't last long until Kai snorted, Minx cackling at the sound. And with that, chaos erupted. He tried helping her with the spells, but he himself couldn't stop the giggles whenever she would mess up. She would retaliate by sending different large objects straight at his head, which then turned into them playing a game of dodgeball with household items.
Kai ducked behind the sofa, narrowly missing the wooden spoon that was flung at his head. He grabbed a board game from under the sofa and threw it as fast as possible but Minx was quicker. She jumped to the side and spotted a lamp, focusing on it for a moment before flinging it towards the man.
He fell onto the floor in a fit of laughter and slight pain. "You motus like a girl."
Her eyebrows raised, ready for a challenge. "Oh, yeah? Guess what Sherlock, I am a girl. That doesn't mean I'm in any way shape or form weaker than you. I know it's hard being second best, sweetie. Don't worry, I'll always be here to protect you."
"It's on, Lydia Deetz. It is so on."
