George's POV
I settle myself in and pick up my guitar. John told us yesterday he'd written a new song and wanted to get it recorded before we left for the Bahamas for filming.
"So here's the song, lads. Came to me rather easily a few nights ago." John says showing us the lyrics sheet.
My eyes widen and I lock eyes with John as Paul mulls over the paper still.
He gives me a knowing nod and we wait to hear Paul's response.
"Not bad, John. Let's get to it!" Paul declares, stepping over to his usual spot to grab his bass.

It only takes us three hours to get it down.

So much of this song feels right.
John nailed it right on the head.
Standing face to face with him singing felt so....freeing. Like I was telling him right to his face.

The way you treat her, what else can I do?
Paul seems to be thick about this. Never said a word to John about the lyrics.
But I know. I know everything.
