You were recovering quite nicely. Already pretty much falling back into the groove with school. Your mother was slowly but surely coming around, acting a little less paranoid when you left the house. The destination of your evenings were always the same. Dropped your bag at the front door, racing down a few blocks to meet up with Bumblebee. When you got to the small house you grinned, dashing to the door. You knocked, and Mrs. Witwicky opened up with a smile.

"Oh honey right on time. Sam, (Y/N) is here!!" she called. There wasn't a response, and when you saw the pair of women's boots at the door you snickered.

"Can you just pass her the keys, k-kinda busy!" you fought your hardest to suppress your giggles. Mikaela was definitely up there. "How rude, do you want me to storm up there and get him?" she asked. "You shook your head. "It's fine, I'll just take bumblebee for a spin." she took the keys off the table handing them to you.

"Have fun and bee safe." you smiled at her joke. "I will." once again you were heading out the door. You moved over to the car, and once you were safely inside, you tapped the dashboard lightly. "We're in the clear Bee." his engine revered, and he pulled out of the driveway, and you grinned as the windows went down, your hair taking off with the speed of the wind. Leaning your head on the side of the window, you sighed, closing your eyes and enjoying the sun beaming down on your face. This was the best part of your day. Just driving to random places with Bee.

Today was different though, you raised your head, watching the steering wheel.

"Bee, you okay?" he was strangely quiet, and you couldn't understand why. There was no reply, and now you were really worried. From the direction you could tell he was going to your usual spot. It was a nice grassy area a little outside of town. Not many people went there. You'd discovered it on your many adventures. The perfect place to hang out and stare out at the sky, not to mention Bee didn't have to worry about many people passing and freaking out when they saw a camaro change. His engine came to a stop right on the small hill, and the door opened. You stepped out, turning to him for an explanation for his strange behavior.

"Okay mister, tell me what's wrong." you could hear the gear shifting as his tires somewhat deflated in defeat. A few more moments and he was transforming into his true form. You watched as he grew in size. Now that he was standing, you could see the way those bright optics that usually shined in excitement now held uncertainty, and almost hurt.

"Bee...please tell me what's wrong." His head hung low, and you stepped forward taking his hand. "D-Did I do something?" he shook his head, and the stations on his radio ran from one to the next. "You're perfect to me." you blushed, but still wore a fairly puzzled look. "T-Then why are you acting so strange."

"Humans...should be with humans." your eyes seem to open in recognition. Someone must have said something to him.

"Bee, where did this even come from." It was no secret you adored the autobot, you were crazy about him. But you'd never said it to him personally. You supposed you liked the friendship that you had, and you'd rather remain alone than risk breaking such a precious bond. Now though, it felt like something had to be said.

"I'm in love with you." your heart stopped, wondering if he was really saying that, to you. What really surprised you is the fact that he hadn't used the radio for that particular comment.

"Are you...serious?"

You could see the way he shifted, taking a step back, almost like he was protecting himself. "Optimus was right." The sadness that flashed over the blue glow of those orbs had you gripping his hand tighter before he could get too far. You understood that Bumblebee was the youngest out of all of them, so that must have meant that they treated him like the baby of the family. Ratchet must have told him that to protect him from getting hurt. And he wasn't wrong too. Humans weren't exactly known for being the most accepting, at least not all of them.

"Bumblebee." you said his name with purpose, and his gaze returned to you.

"I'm in love with you too."

He froze, then blinked a couple times. There was a long trail of silence, then you could hear the sound of his engines fan blowing furiously. You looked over to see if maybe he was shorting, but his radio joined in, blaring and then lowering quickly as random words and phrases started flying out.

"Love, shut, down. Abort she's, go man!" you smiled widely, he was doing a small little happy dance on the spot.

"Bee, are you okay." you asked between soft giggles. He nodded furiously.

"I'm great!!" Was there ever a time where you didn't think this autobot was an absolute cutey.

"I really love you Bee." You've been dying to say that to him for months. You were so glad that your feelings were mutual. So was Bumblebee. He squatted, and you were curious.

"Can I have a kiss?"

His level of cuteness should be a crime at this point.

"Of course you big dummy!" you smiled reaching out and pulling him closer. You pressed a kiss to his metallic cheek, and you were certain if he could blush, he would have been ten different shades right now.

He picked you up, lifting you to his height, and you hugged his neck, pressing kisses to every area that you could reach.

Who would have thought you'd find love in the mostly unlikely way.
