Everyone was waiting anxiously outside the room. Some praying in fear while some praying in sadness for the king to wake up. Haikuan, still wasn't anywhere to be seen. He was told to be summoned an hour ago but still no news of him. The room was closed from inside and nobody had guts to open it but the sound of two thuds had them worried.

"Give me way, get out of my way let me check. Haikuan- ge is still not here and no body can go in but i am his brother, let me check".
Huoxuan, the one who joined zhan in laughing when they were in garden. Houxuan was waiting for Haikuan-ge too but seeing no one coming he couldn't wait any longer. He pushed the door once, twice,thrice but when no response came through he was sure something is fishy.

"Go get me keys to this palace. It must hav e a key to this room. I think something happened inside because no one is responding to my knocks till now. My brother is vampire he must have heard the knocks with his super sensitive hearing power".

Guard rushed back to the control room where all the keys were kept in case of such emergencies and got the keys out.
Rushing back he found Lord Haikuan rushing towards them. He bowed on respect to him.
"Greetings, My lord".

"What's happening why was I summoned so early in morning. I was somewhere else and rushed back here as soon as i could. Bow what's the matter".

"Oh Lord, something terrible has happened to the king and his new concubine. I don't have time to explain the whole story but we think the king is some sort of danger and the concubine too".

Haikuan rushed with him to the palace where all of them were surrounding the room of the new concubine. He saw houxuan, along with song-jiyang trying to open the door.
"What are you two doing. Why are trying to wake the king up. He must be sleeping".

"Ge, no he is not. First, help us open this damn door. We have been trying but nothing helps. Something is wrong since morning today".

Haikuan takes the keys to the room and tries to opens the door. After trying for 40th time the door opened and all of them were hit by stench of blood. Haikuan heard several growls behind him. It was certainly a delicious scent but haikuan had promised not to touch any other human being other than his mate.

"Take everyone out. Jiyang take your mate away, he still hasn't developed control over his hunger. Everyone out, come on. And send for the doctor immediately".

Everyone immediately rushes out from there going back to their duties taking the mind off the scent. Haikuan entered the room covering the nose and saw the blood coming out of the new bride's neck. Haikuan immediately bit his own wrist and fed his blood to him before picking him up and laying him down on bed and covering him in sheets. He sighed in relief when blood stopped flowing and wound healed.

He rushed to aid his brother who was still unconscious though he never fainted before. Haikuan picked him up and laid him on bed too. Covering his body woth blanket too. When he touched his body it was burning. Yibo had developed fever, high fever to be be exact. This worried Haikuan because yibo never fell sick. Not till now atleast.

The doctor was summoned immediately by the guards and she was here waiting outside to be allowed to enter.
She knocked on the door, informing about her presence and waiting patiently. Haikuan rushed to call her in. His brother had started to turn purplish black and he was getting worried. Even though his brother was a pain in ass he still loved him dearly to see him dying.

The doctor was actually a witch. She immediately understood when she saw yibo turning purplish black. She turned to Haikuan and told him to get few things for her.

Haikuan left immediately and went with few guards to buy those things and also inform jiang cheng that he won't be coming for few days as its matter of life of his brother.

"My lord, you need to wake up soon, this is dangerous what even caused you to faint".
The doctor cum witch meng ziyi knew witch craft and the minute she saw yibo she knew he was injected with essence if black rose. Its a special and rare rose, available to only few powerful witched in this whole world. That rose, has various properties and one of them is making someone forget theor memories, or control their mind in a way they want so they could act through them. Ziyi had sensed the faint power in the room the minute she entered. Being a witch she was always able to sense a slightest of power near her but in this room, she could sense a strange power.

She took out a bottle from her bag and looked at the blue liquid.
"It should do. Hopefully, the amount of black rose essence won't be too much to control".

She was about to pour the liquid in yibo's mouth when suddenly he woke up and clutched the hand that was about to feed him. Ziyi shouted in pain because the grip was too strong and tight for her delicate wrist. The bottle slipped from the hands and the liquid vanished in thin air the minute it came in contact with the floor.

"Who are you? What were you trying to feed me? Where's this? Why am i back here in concubines palace".

Hearing the word concubine shocked ziyi because she didn't knew, king had married someone recently. Jealousy sprung in her heart. Words from yibo sting her heart and mind. She released herself and using a teleportation spell she instantly vanished in thin air.

Yibo got up from the bed and looked around the room. He remembers everything that happened last night. He also remembers he had marked his concubine unconsciously

"FUCK!!!FUCK!!!WHAT HAVE I DONE??? How could i make such a stupid mistake? Marking him!! No I can't mark him???it must be a spell!!! He must be a witch!!! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU YOU WITCH".

Yibo looked around the room and found zhan sleeping on the bed too. He was getting angry when he saw him sleeping soundly.
"You are sleeping peacefully while my life has turned upside down. You will pay for this".
He picked him up and took him to nearby pool and dropped him. Zhan who was sleeping got startled from being wet and immediately woke up. He looked around frantically trying to understand where he was and what was happening. That's when his eyes landed on yibo and he screamed wildly remembering how he was trying yo help him but got almost killed instead. Absent mindedly though, he started a water fight with yibo. Yibo too unconsciously entered the pool himself. To him, it felt like winning this water fight was an actual victory for him and that's how yibo and zhan's water fight started with everyone peeking at them and giggling like teenagers girls watching their favourite ship sailing. Both ended up and wet and Haikuan who just returned found and found them in the mess couldn't help but utter - WHAT THE HELL??

Nobody would believe that they were actually fighting like enemies just now and not like couple. Cause to everyone it looked like fight between couples.
"YOU.....you cheated. You threw it in my....my eyes... and that's why I couldn't attack back".

In response he got another shot of water and a tongue peeking out if zhan's lips in teasing manner. In order to get his revenge, yibo in his vampire speed went near zhan and bit his tongue so he h couldn't take it back in his mouth. Zhan started pushing him back but it wasn't of any help. Instead yibo got more excited and instead of releasing his tongue he took his lips in his teeth and started biting and sucking them, making zhan shiver from intensity of kiss. Yibo knew there were eyes on them, and he wouldn't have cared before but today he couldn't explain why but he didn't want anyone to put their gaze on zhan. So he picked him up by his ass and carried him in. His wet body when came in contact with his own, he felt as if his body was ignited with fire and he rushed inside.
