Yibo carefully placed the baby on cot and looked at maid sharply.
"You couldn't even make a baby to stop crying, what are you doing here then!! And where is the mother of the child?"
The maids immediately kneeled and the head maid replied,"lord, his highness had high fever today and wasn't able to wake up. The baby was crying non stop for few hours and we tried our best to make him quiet but he wouldn't".
"If his highness is sick, why hasn't the royal physician come to check on him".
"We wanted to ask for royal physicians but his highness refused to call anyone".
Yibo immediately left towards zhan's palace. He knew zhan could be stubborn but this stubborness could take his life away and then who we will look after the kids they are still so small. When yibo was at the near the entrance a maid startled him by running straight into his chest and fell down on the floor. Upon seeing the king, she immediately sat on her knees, bowed ger head to the king in apology.
Yibo told them to get up and scolded them for running around like that. They bowed their head and nuttered apology before again getting on their knees.
"King please......please call the physician. His .....his highness is sick since last night but won't let anyone call the physician but now he has fainted and his body is turning blue and cold.....please king please save our highness we don't want to lose him".
Yibo was shocked when he heard about the condition of xiao zhan. He didn't know that things were this bad. He thought it might be just flu and being stubborn zhan wasn't letting anyone take stress unnecessarily but this was stupidity. Not letting the physicians or him know about the condition was like deliberately trying to die. He immediately rushed inside the palace room where his soul almost left his body when he saw zhan lying on the mattress lifelessly, slowing turning blue already looking half dead if not for is his still rising chest someone might think he is already dead. Yibo rushed beside him and held his hand. Zhan who had fainted but kept going in and out of his unconscious muttered something that was not understood by yibo.
"Call the royal physician and all the best physician from the city. I will reward them hefty amount of gold if they treat his highness fast".
Message was sent to royal physician along with the message to all physician in town and city to come to palace immediately. Soon the royal physician was rushing in the palace of Zhan with 10 of his helping physician who accompanied him in completing his task thoroughly and speedily everytime.
They immediately got to work when they saw the condition of xiao zhan. The head physician started with his pulse and did some test with silver needle to satisfy his hunch. He already guessed what it was but test was needed to confirm his suspicions.
"King, i have suspicion that someone tried to poison his highness with poison, to confirm i have tested it, if the colour of silver changes that it certainly poison, if it doesn't then atleast its not poison".
They waited and soon physician's hunches were proved right. He was definitely poisoned. The silver needle changed its colour indicating the poison's consumption.
"King as you can see, it's definitely poison but to know which poison it is and how strong it is we need to do more test for which we need to take more blood for test, if you allow we will get to it right now".
"What are you waiting for, you have my permission just treat him quickly, right now, I don't care............
"There's no need for any test......i can tell just by my magic its a potion...... a dangerous potion to kill mama zhan.......king........i can help you but it will have consequences and mama zhan might go into coma that i don't know when he will wake up again. But poison won't affect his health anymore i assure you".
"Then do it......what are you waiting for.....do it immediately".

It would be an understatement that wang yibo was shocked to see Aning getting angry and shouting at him then crying lamenting him. He never knew that because of him zhan was this close to death. If only he didn't act cold toward zhan for birthing a baby. It wasn't his fault he felt guilty when he realised what he did.....but then his ego as a king came inbetween and he couldn't apologize. He did allow zhan to do whatever he wanted but his guilt couldn't allow him to confront zhan and ask for his forgiveness. If only he did, right now zhan would have taken early treatment and things wouldn't have been this worse.
Yibo fell on his knees. Tears streamed down his pearl like eyes and across his cheeks and dropped on zhan's hand that he was holding till now. He didn't realize that his tears started bringing warmth in zhan's cold hands. He didn't see how he colour started changing.
"S....sorry....my love......i am so....sorryyy forgive this idiot king of yours.......please receive the treatment and come back to me.......i have never hated you.......i was blinded by my ego that I didn't realise that i would lose you like this......please take the treatment and fight for me love......fight for our boys.......you take care of them so well even I can't do that you can't leave those toddlers to me they will be spoilt brat like me and then you will curse me from up there but instead stay here stay beside me for eternity and scold me when i spoil them".
Wang yibo was on full mode crying asking for forgiveness and begging zhan to wake up. Soon aning took pity on his father and started chanting some spells and soon wang yibo saw the a pearl like white drop that started turning black from the poison that it was sucking from zhan's body and heart. The white pearl soon turned completely black and Aning carefully moved it into a box and sealed it with a spell to check it later. When he ended the procedure; zhan coughed up a lot of blood which worried everyone in the room but Aning assured that it was just residue of poison that was mixed with blood. They main poison was out so the rest will comeout slowly. He instructed physician to start with feeding concoctions to regain his health back and in meanwhile someone needs to take care of him all the time cause he is in comatose state and won't be able to have medicine on his own and when he coughs out blood someone must watch over him turn so that he doesn't choke on his own blood. Hearing this yibo decided that he will tKe care and when he will be busy Acheng and Ayang will accompany zhan. Being rest assured Wning took the box of now black pearl with him to his chamber that was near zhan's palace and went to inspect it.
End of chapter for today but expect a new update within this week. I just need time to draft i have plot and that's the issue......I can't find the time 💔💔💔💔 but i will update within this week i promise.....and you all know what to do to give me motivation..
