Indebted marriage

Thirteen

Yibo destroyed everything in his room the minute he entered. He was angry at himself. The guy he treated so badly since day one, he was actually an angel. He always wanted a family of his own. A boy or a girl of his own blood calling daddy. But now because of his negligence he lost them.

Yibo clutched his hair toghtly and dropped to the floor, tears streaming down his cheeks. He felt as if he was going crazy.
"So this is what they meant by special. He could conceive. I even marked him, so why couldn't i sense anything. I should have known by now that he was pregnant with my child then why couldn't i sense it. Is this my punishment".

Yibo screamed loudly and the whole palace shook. Everyone was scared what will happen. The angry king was never good. But nobody understood why was he in agony in first place. It wasn't like someone killed his love.

"GUARDS.....GUARDS....."
Guards rushed in inside on hearing the thunderous voice. They almost peed their pants when they saw the king. He had pitch black eyes and it was scariest moments for them.

"Call the imperial palace doctors.....and find the powerful witch right now. I want them here by this evening".
Everyone ran outside to start their jobs they were assigned. Yibo went back to zhan's palace to look after him till doctors arrive. He touched zhan's stomach to find it hard. He frowned at the hardness it wasn't there before. He was sure about it.

"I am sorry, that I couldn't protect you. I failed again to protect my family. But I promise from today onwards every harm towards you will pass through me. I accept you as my official bride of Vampire king. No one can touch you or come near you without passing through me".
Yibo face was filled with tears. He was breaking with guilt from inside. It felt like he wasn't capable of any happiness. First his sister and now his baby.

He was crying when he felt zhan fingers move. He looked at him and saw him trying to open his eyes. He immediately called for a maid to deliver some water here. The room was already cleaned when ziyi was taken out so there was no blood.
Zhan was fin terrible pain. He was whimpering from pain but couldn't open in his eyes. The pain kept increasing whenever he tried to open his eyes. It was as if his body was trying to keep him in sleep to avoid the pain but he was fighting to open his eyes and be awake.

Yibo who was watching everything looked strangely concerned as to why zhan wasn't opening his eyes. He checked his forehead for temperature but it was normal. He couldn't understand anything and being a vampire he had no knowledge of what was happening to a human body. The only way he could help was giving zhan his own blood. He bit his own wrist and tried to feed him but thr blood just poured out of his mouth. When nothing helped with the option yibo had, he could only wait for the doctors.

Meanwhile, zhan was dreaming about something horrible.

Zhan was in land surrounded by white light. Someone was whispering in his ears. It sounded like a voice of a baby.
It was saying something but zhan was too focused on trying to get out that he didn't hear what it was tryung to say. It started tugging on zhan's pants to get his attention and zhan finally gave up and looked at it in annoyance but was surprised to see his carbon copy.

He knelt down towards the baby and pet him on hed before picking him up in his arms and bounced him in air. The baby giggled cutely and kicked his legs happily.
Zhan laughed too with baby's cute antics. He started singing a lullaby to the baby and it slept in minutes but before he slept he muttered words like "save" "mamma".

Zhan was touched when he heard him calling mamma. He hugged the baby close to him and kept swinging slowly so he goes in deep sleep. Suddenly the scene changes and he sees the baby lying in his pool of blood and a dark shadow looming over him laughing maniacally.

Zhan feels his pain increasing in his body and suddenly wakes up with a scream.
He immediately latches the person who was holding him and cries out loud muttering words like "my baby" , "couldn't save".

Yibo also shed tears hearing him. He didn't understand how zhan knew it but he understood that zhan knew about it. He hugged him tightly. He knows how painful it is for a mother to loose its child.
He saw his mother loosing her mind when they had lost their sister. She turned rebellious and wanted only revenge. And slowly she went mad and started suspecting everyone in her own family. Yibo got the worst because he mingled with humans easily. That's why yibo always hated them.

"Please bring my baby back. I want it back. That baby referred me as his mumma and I couldn't even save it. I am such a worthless person. Please i beg you get it back to me. I will kill that shadow who destroyed it. It made my baby bleed. You must take revenge for me. It was your baby too. My seed was killed within me because of you. KILL HER".

Zhan eyes turned white for a mere second in anger before he fainted again. Soon the doctors came in as per the command of the king and all of them stood in straight line waiting for the command of king.
"He fainted again and he also had miscarriage. Check him and make sure you don't leave until he opens his eyes and is back on his feet again. That's my command to all of you".

Yibo leaves the room and calls for all the soldiers present. When all of them are gathered, he goes to the throne and starts speaking.

"We all need to be together as support for my bride since he lost my child he is devastated. I bring you all here to ask you will you support my human bride and pay him respect as you do to me. Will you protect him and the upcoming prince or princess with your life like you do for me".

The room roared with aggression on loss of the heir but all agreed upon protecting the new human bride with their lives.
The room was filled with whispers and all when the door was opened by the medical officer and he looked pale and was huffing like he ran here.
"My lord....your bride.....he is.....missing....."

Uhh where is zhan🤔🤔🤔🤔

Yibo accepted zhan his bride finally but isn't it selfish that he accepted him because he can give yibo heir to his throne and a family.
