A day had passed since Zhan had started recovering. His colour was coning back slowly. He wasn't looking like a dead body anymore. The trio were with zhan right now........they were very anxious since yesterday when they didn't see their mama whole day even though yibo's presence was able to calm them down but in the end only zhan's presence could make them lull to sleep peacefully.

So yibo decided to shift them in his own chamber as his chamber was bigger and spacious for all of them to fit in. Yibo was currently carrying his third child who was quite fussy since last hour. He wouldn't stop crying unless he is yibo's arm which yibo had no problem with until now. Now he had to go for some work but this clingy human baby wouldn't let him leave. Well can anybody blame him.....he was straightforwardly ignored by yibo for so many months now his father's warmth was something he wouldn't exchange for anything. Finally after hours of pacing around and patting him on his back, he finally dozed off to his sweet sweet dreamland much to yibo's delight. He carefully laid him down near zhan along with his siblings and looked at zhan who was also looking peaceful.

"Take care love.....i will be back soon.......our angels are beside you just like you wanted....wake up soon love we all miss you, you still need to punish this stupid husband of yours and help him take care of these angels. I don't know why but among the three, only one seems to be clingy to me, the other two are more attached you. Well i have to go butbi will be back soon and with your medicine too so take rest".

Yibo kissed his forehead before jiyang and zhoucheng entered the room. They both looked very tired and sleepy which made yibo feel guilty because just like zhan they had given birth too and were probably tired from sleepless nights. They bowed to Yibo which yibo nodded his head to and left the room to go perform his palace duties. He entered the palace hall where he met with haoxuan and xichen. They were very stressed and anxious and when they saw him they immediately approached him.

"Yibo have you heard from Aning. We can't help but feel anxious. Zhan was poisoned and there is no proof or anything to catch the traitor. We can't even trace any evidence unless zhan tells us himself and we are afraid it might be too late till then".
Yibo was also thinking the same thing all this time. It was very important to catch the killer before another attack happens and zhan is seriously gone. Whoever the killer was definitely wanted to kill zhan because only ye was harmed. Yibo is also scared because recently there was no activity from weiying nor Nara. He knew they were probably mad and upset from him but still not showing at all. It made him worry. They would atleast help zhan heal his body but there were no signs. He couldn't do anything anyway unless they decided to show up themselves. He just prayed that they weren't harmed in anyway cause if zhan really died and they didn't shift it would mean that they probably were on the verge of death too. He needed a serious conversation with Wang Ning, cause only he could communicate with his mother cum shadow witch Weiying.

"Don't worry brother, i am thinking same. I will go talk to Wang ning and i am sure he is working on solving the mystery himself. After all its his mother he almost lost. He won't sit idly till he catches the culprit himself. Let's just be on lookout incase there's another attackk like this".

Yibo was about to go back to his chamber when a servant came running looking horrified. Yibo immediately got alerted by the smell of blood. He knew it wasn't his but he was covered in blood.
"King.......someone just attacked the palace east wing where his highness was located before. There was bloodbath my lord......i was about to return to mu duty when i smelled blood from there and rushed only to find everyone dead. My lord I don't know what it was, it was very powerful if not saved by fellow guard i would have died too. King, it headed towards your chamber please hurry up".

When yibo heard about 'it' heading towards his chamber the colour drained from his face and he rushed towards his chamber......

Everything was in choas. The whole area was filled with blood, scream were echoing through hallways and it made yibo heart palpitate eithout rhythm. Behind him were houxuan and xichen dreading the life if their loved ones. They didn't want the repeat of history. They didn't want to lose anyone like their sister. They rushed up towards chambers door that was still shut but the blood beneath was telling another story. Yibo froze outside the door when he saw blood. He was scared to enter. Scared to see what was inside or most likely who'se blood was it. He was praying to whatever was out there to keep his family safe.

When he finally had the courage to open the door, the door swung open on its own and  force of black energy rushed out of room. Before anyone could do anything, it was out of their sight in mere seconds. Inside the room stood an ethereal beauty looking ruthless. One eye purple one eye golden. Standing in midst of blood and choas. His aura, so dangerous to approach but yibo didn't care. He moved towards him.....slowly but without fear. When his eyes met with the beauty.....he smiled.

"You did good love, you scared it away......you protected all of us.....but its time to calm down.....its time to go back to rest.......i am here now..........you can sleep".

In mere seconds of yibo's whispers the eyes drooped and the body went unconscious in arms of yibo ofcourse. Yibo had smile on his face. A smile that showed that he was relaxed and the love was evident in his eyes when he gazed at unconscious beauty.

"Thanks love for waking up and protecting your family. Thanks for telling me you are still here and not dead. Now rest and when you have regained your energy fully back......i will apologise properly and do the needful. We will introduce you both to the world......MY QUEEN".

Everyone was gaping at the zhan's body that was peacefully resting in yibo's arms like it didn't scare away the hell that just came on the palace and his family.
