Today was a hectic day for yibo. He had been busy with meetings and allies in securing the new boundaries the recently acquired. Zhan was nearing his due date and around this time, nara was actively out. She was more cranky and moody now. Nowadays yibo actually feared for his life sometimes. he was sure that he needs to secure his mate and their three kids. Zhan was active even though he was nearly due. If somebody looked at him working like that, they would not believe he was pregnant.
Yibo sometimes actually suggested him to rest a bit, but he received death glares from zhan and then he decided to stop suggesting him anything and just focusing on making sure there perimeters are safe for their would be queen to roam around.
Tonight was an official meeting with the largest and strongest wolf pack in world. Yibo had been trying to get in touch with them but failed every time since this pack was never at same place overnight. Last week finally, he got to meet one of the very important member of the pack. He saved him from the attack the rouges. So when he introduced himself, yibo finally got the chance to meet the pack.
The preparation were going on with best decorations. The whole town under the king was busy with preparing their homes, market and churches. If this meeting would be successful, the pack would be staying here permanently.
The pack was to arrive in 30 minutes and zhan or should we say weiying was very persuaded in not going to any meeting from today onwards.Yibo was cursing his stars that out of all the days he begged to rest zhan/Weiying would never listen but today when it's important to attend this meet with king, he is throwing tantrums.
"Weiying please let zhan come out you know it's important".
"No its not. I have already told you. I am strongest hybrid out there. I can protect this pack but you won't listen to me. So I won't listen to you either".
"But weiying my sweet darling, think about it, when Nara is near her birth date, she will be extremely weak and vulnerable. You know can't leave the body much now, it will be hard for her and zhan. And you can't do anything risky being in that body or it might harm the baby. Only Nara can shift into wolf and Zhan can remain as human. And you need to stop coming out like this. In future it might cause you trouble if someone finds out who you are truly, world is still not aware of the powerful hybrid being alive and about give birth".
WE SAID WE ARE NOT IN MOOD YOU FATTY BAT".
"Weiying you know its not something we can miss. We have to attend it. Please please i will get you whatever you want to eat in middle of the night. Just this once please let's go".
"DONT YOU GET IT IN SIMPLE WORDS YOU OLD MAN......I AM NOT GOING. YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE BETTER IDEA. TAKE HOAXUAN AND KUAN GE WITH YOU I AM NOT GOING".
"Did you just call me old man?????weiying you know what I don't want to argue with you. Give my bunny zhan back. Atleast he is caring towards me and doesn't call me mean names".
"D......did you just scold me? Huhuhuh.......you are bad fuddy duddy.......go away i am not gonna talk to you ever".
Weiying was just being moody as usual. Even though in between them, Nara was the one pregnant.......her mood swings were affecting all of them. So as usual, zhan and yibo were meant to go to a very important meeting/party but weiying who took over zhan's body just because he was bored but he actually missed yibo and wanted to see him, was now throwing tantrums about not going and just being lazy.
Weiying only wanted to be pampered by yibo. He always missed it and got jealous that his other two natures got care and pampering but with him, yibo was always carefree and treated him like a friend. Its true weiying was not vulnerable like Nara and Zhan, but still he was also the mate and he also missed yibo a lot. Today he wanted yibo to just pamper him. If yibo gave a little bit attention and he would have been happy and gone away but no even today he couldn't do that. Weiying left and gave back control to Zhan. Zhan who woke up immediately asked why is he sitting in his room.
" Yibo why are we sitting in room like this? I already told you there's not room for argument on this topic. I am gonna work till i want to. And if i feel unrest or uncomfortable i will take rest. Now please stop the nuisance you always cause and lets just go".
Yibo helps zhan go down the hall to the main hall where all the arrangements were being made. Yibo insisted on keeping the party cum meeting in their own palace's main hall. It would be convenient for zhan to retire when ever he needs to and he can keep an eye on him too.
By evening everyone was ready to welcome the pack to their vampire kingdom. Yibo and zhan were wearing tux while others were wearing somewhat similar to that.
By 8PM, they had waited for almost an hour but nobody arrived. Yibo wasn't expecting this. He tried to remain calm but this was outrageous.
"Yibo calm down, maybe something happened and they got delayed".
"This is the first time i extend my hand for friendship and this is how they respond. This meeting or party is over".
Yibo stormed out of the meeting hall. Anger could be seen from afar. His body is was emitting flames of fire and anger. He knocked over some flower pots and food stalls in anger.
"Yibo wait.....wait........AHHHHH".
