Hey everyone! For a little less than half a year now, I and a colleague have been working on a project called Elpis Anthology for the University of Brighton, for our Communities of Practice module.

This Anthology is named after the Greek goddess of Hope, Elpis, and is a collection of creative writing crafted during the lockdown, and inspired by hope. It was created to capture the sense of hope many people felt when lockdown measures began to ease in the spring of 2021. The Editorial Team (me and my colleague) have dedicated ourselves to carefully curating this collection, every piece of which has been selected for its sense of creativity, resilience and empowerment. While the long-term effects of the pandemic are yet to be discovered at the time of publication, we are proud to deliver this series of works, crafted by students at the University of Brighton during the lockdown in 2021.

Please feel free to give it a try on this link found in the comments and maybe comment!

My creative piece -under my real name and not my usual pen name- is named Ad Astra.

The artwork was commissioned by the amazing MrDisease on Instagram
