Madison's pov

It's been 3 weeks and I could not stop thinking about her, I felt a little sad since she didn't call me after I gave her my card. When I first laid my eyes on her beautiful green orbs I couldn't look away. Why now? I asked myself. It has been years since I felt that tingling sensation in my stomach by just looking at someone, and she's so young she looks 17 or so. If this is what I think it I can't go through with this she's a minor for crying out loud and I could go to jail if this gets out of hand. I sigh and get out of the shower and walked to my walk in closet to choose an attire for the day.

When I walked out of the elevator my assistant Samantha walked towards me "Ms Miller you have a call on hold for you."

"Thank you Ms Davis." I went to my office and sat behind my desk, I picked up the phone then turned my chair towards the window giving me the amazing view. "Hello," I said to the person on the phone. There was whispering before. I heard my mom's voice. "Ahh Madison you finally picked up." My mom said. " How can I not you ambushed me on my office phone, mom I told you I'm fine you don't have to check up on me every hour."

"You're my daughter I get worried about you since you don't have anyone to take care of you, but that's not what I'm calling you about." I sigh. " Then what is is mother I have a lot of work to do?"

My mom coughed before answering. "We're having family dinner tonight and your dad and I will appreciate it very much if you'd join us." I think about it first. "Okay I'll be there mom, what time is it?" I asked. "Come around 19:30, we love you Madison okay bye we'll let you be." Alright that was weird " bye mom I love you guys too." I hung up the phone then drowned myself in paper work before my ten o'cloc meeting.

When things like this happen my parents always want me to talk about my feelings and I'm not really fond of going down memories lane, because all the time I think about her I want punch or strangle something. I was brought out of my thoughts when Samantha knocked on my door, " boss your ten o'clock meeting will start in a minute."

"Thank you Ms Davis I'll be right there." She walked out of my office with me following close behind her. This is gonna be a long day since I'll be having meetings all day."

I was in my 15:00 pm meeting when I got a call from an unknown number, I couldn't pick up because we were discussing the budget plan for this year and that's important so I left it ringing on top of the table. It rang again twice before I decided to excuse myself to pick up the call it might be important since the person is reluctant.

"Uhm hello." I heard from the line after picking up.

"Hello who is this I'm in an important meeting you know?"

"Ohh, I'm sorry Ms Miller it's Skylar we met at the store weeks back I can call another time if you want." I felt myself smile when I found out who was on the line. "No no it's fine I can talk for a bit."

"No I don't want you missing your meeting because of me I can call you later it's fine."

"Or I can call you when I'm done with my meetings for today coz I don't know when I'll be done."

"Okay then bye." I sigh at the disappointment I heard from her voice. I was about to shout wait but was cut off by the line going dead, I shut my eyes and took a deep breath before going back in to the meeting with a thought of calling her back later tonight.

I was sitting in my office, checking my emails when my best friend Emily walked in. " Hey so you ready to go?" Ohh yeah I decided to take her with me so I won't be nagged by my parents because they love Emily so much they can't stop asking about her life when she's around. "Uhm yeah let me just take my bag and coat." I sad before we left.
