Chapter 14: Doctor's office

Madison's POV

After Sky and I talked we went back to sit and wait to be called by Doctor Anderson from what I've heard and read she's the best gynecologist in this hospital. I still don't fully trust Skylar to not bail on me but she took the first by showing up and I'm gonna give her credit for that. I'm willing to give this a shot if it means my baby will grow up having both parents.

"Madison Miller?" I was brought out of my trans by who I would assume is Doctor Anderson. "Here" Skylar said standing up because I wasn't fast enough to respond. I stood up and Sky held my hand as we walked in the doctor's office.

"Hey I'm Doctor Anderson and I'll be your gynecologist I'm glad you requested me and I'll make sure to take the best care of you and your baby." She said.

"Hy I'm Madison Miller and this is Skylar Williams." I said as we shook hands, Skylar did the same. Doctor Anderson started towards her desk and we followed suite. "I assume this is your first appointment correct?"

"Yes" I responded. "Well then I would like for you to sit here for me so I can take your blood to run some test the we'll do an ultrasound, how far long are you?" Doctor Anderson asked. "I'm assuming two months."

"Well then let proceed, it's nice of you to be here miss Williams I'm assuming miss Miller's husband or boyfriend could not make it?"

"I-I uhm no-" Skylar started stuttering so I figured I'd intervene.

"I have no husband or boyfriend doctor Anderson, Skylar is the other parent of my unborn child she's intersex."

"Ohh I'm sorry it's rare to come across an intersex person so I just assumed I'm sorry."

"It's okay I'm not ashamed or anything your question just caught me off guard that's all."

"Alright then sorry for the confusion."

After that awkward conversation Doctor Anderson took my blood and left us to run some tests."So are you excited?" I decided to ask Sky she was so quiet I was getting worried.

"Yeah to be honest I'm super nervous but I'm excited I get to experience this with you." She leaned in and gave me a peck on the lips. "Yeah I'm excited to we're going to have a baby together can you believe that?"

"Yes and I'm glad to see you happy I wanna make you and my baby happy." Sky chuckled. "Our baby you mean, I'm carrying her or him. " I said with a raised eyebrow. "Of course I meant our baby I would never single you out." Skylar said teasingly. "That's better." I said pecking her lips. I'm sorry happy right now things I started to get better for us and for Skylar to be joking about this situation means she's accepted the fact that she's going to be a parent.

Doctor Anderson came back with the blood tests and it's confirmed I'm pregnant and I'm perfectly healthy so I hope this pregnancy goes as smooth as I want it to be I don't want any problems.

"So let's do an ultrasound then and the good news is you came  6 1/2 to 7 weeks after gestation period so we'll be able to detect a heartbeat."

"So we're going to hear the heartbeat like right now?" Skylar asked excited. "Yes miss Williams so should we proceed?"

"Yes doctor." I said getting excited about hearing my baby's first heartbeat. "Okay so can you lay down for me please and pull your shirt over your stomach, this will be cold so please relax." Doctor Anderson said.

So I did as I was told and I felt the cold gel hit my stomach, so the doctor was trying to find a heartbeat and I was just laying there holding Skylar's hand then we heard it at first it was low but the as Doctor Anderson got closer you could hear it beat a little louder. "Here it is." Doctor Anderson said smiling at both of us.

I looked up at Sky and she was looking at the screen with awe and I saw tears rolling down her eyes that when I realized I was crying to. Sky looked down at me and smiled giving my hand a hard squeeze and I smiled back at her." I'm glad I came." She said. "And I'm glad I let you stay this is the best sound I've ever heard and I'm glad you're here with me." Sky smirked she brought her lips closer to my ear "Well that's insulting because I'm sure we have lots of sex." I blushed at what I she said and I pushed her away. "But I agree this is the best sound." She continued.

When Doctor Anderson was done explaining everything and telling us to come back in four weeks for the next appointment we left. "So what you wanna eat mama?" Skylar asked in a teasing tone.

"Well I'm craving some chicken nuggets and a burger right now daddy." She laughed at that. "Well good for me because I thought you'd be craving something nasty, burger and chicken nuggets it is then.

She was driving me since my assistant dropped me off and she was going to pick me up if Skylar didn't show up, so I texted her not too since Sky is here. She was still driving the car I borrowed her when I went to France but I have no intentions of taking it back it's her's now I just haven't told her that yet.

Sky pulled up at chick fil a and we went inside just in case I changed my mind on what to order. "Okay what should I order for you? And I'm paying no arguments." I was tired to argue so I just nodded she seemed surprised but brushed it of since she was starving. "Okay I'll get a chicken burger with large fries and chicken nuggets, ohh and I want extra BBQ sauce and Mayo."

"Alright then I'll get the same thing." She went to the counter and ordered our food. After 15 minutes our food came I didn't tell her which drink to oder but she ordered orange juice perfect. "What drink did you get?" I asked her as we walked out of chick fil a. "Coke." Yeah I thought as much. "So are we going to eat in the car or at your house?" I thought about it. "In the car I'm hungry I didn't eat this morning because of the nerves." Sky let out a sigh. "Yeah me too but from today on you make sure you eat breakfast okay it's important. And I'll make sure you eat breakfast everyday even if I have to stop by at your work before heading to school."

"Yes ma'am." I laughed. When we were done eating Sky headed to my penthouse. " Ohh I meant to ask you earlier what happened to your friends I thought they were going to meet you at the hospital?"

"Ohh I texted them that you showed up and told them they didn't have to come I'll see them tomorrow." I answered. "Ohh okay then that's good for you because I'm going to give you a massage after this long exciting day Miss Miller."

"Oooo I like the sound of that I'm exhausted and I could use a bubble bath too." I said with a sigh. "Your wish is my command now come on we're here." We got our of the car and went inside. Once I saw my bed all I wanted to do was sleep. "Can we just cuddle and sleep for a bit I'm pretty tired we can do all the nice things after." I asked Skylar. "Yeah sure baby." We cuddled and I was soon fast asleep.

When I woke up Skylar gave me a massage as promised and made me a warm bath to relax, I asked her to join me and she did.  After that she made me dinner since we woke up later than planned. I ate my food and we cuddled on the couch watching movie after movie until it was hard to keep my eyes opened. "Are you sleeping over?" O asked her as I got ready for bed. "No baby I've got school tomorrow remember it's Monday today." Ohh yeah I forgot about that we usually meet in weekends so it slipped my mind. "Yeah I forgot, what are you going to say about missing school?"

"The truth that I had a doctor's appointment." I laughed because she wiggled her eyebrows while saying that." Alright then I gave her a peck on the lips but she pulled me closer to her and started devouring me. I kissed back with the same passion until we needed to breathe.

"I'm going to cuddle you till you sleep and I'm gonna be out of here." And that what she did. The last thing I remember before sleep took over was Skylar leaning in and pecking me on the mouth and forehead.
