chapter 3: Coffee Date?

Skylar's pov

After taking a shower I got dressed and went downstairs, my dad was making breakfast. " Morning hunny." I took a piece of bacon put it in my mouth and spoke with my mouth full, "morning dad." It's been a while since we saw each other in the morning because he was taking extra shift at work.

I carried on eating my breakfast as we made small conversation. "So how about we go out for dinner today?" My dad asked. "Dad we don't have enough money to be eating out and besides I have have work today." I said looking at him. "It's fine we can do it tomorrow, since I've been taking up extra shifts I've got a little bit saved so I can spoil my baby girl." He smiled.

"Okay fine we can do it tomorrow." I said smiling back at him. " And stop saying that I'm not a little kid anymore. My dad laughed. "You'll always be my baby girl no matter how grown up you are." I take my bag and kiss his cheek before say bye and walking out the door.

I was standing beside my locker chatting with my friends about the phone call with Madison. To be honest I don't know why I was disappointed when she said she couldn't talk at first because I know she's a busy woman. A part of me wished she could always want to talk with me, I don't understand why I feel this way she doesn't even know me.

"Samantha Williams you got yourself a date with a very successful woman I'm so jealous." Jordan said smirking. My friends laughed and I shook my head. "It's not a date!" I yelled and saw heads turn looking at us on the hallway. I smiled shyly and looked back at my friends who were laughing hard, making me roll my eyes.

The bell rang and went to first period which was English. I was happy I shared the class with Kelly and Brian I hate not having my friends in my classes.
"Okay class we're going to be pairing up and writing a short summary about the book Romeo and Juliet, choose your partners then start discussing and writing. I need those papers at the end of the hour." Mrs Matthews said. I heard groans and curses from student. Tsk tsk tsk these kids are so lazy.

Kelly and Brian came to my desk and we started working, we had small disagreements but it all worked out at the end. When the bell rand we submitted the paper and when to our second hour.

When I was walking through the hallway I bumped into Holly and decided to have fun, I haven't gotten into trouble since school started that's so unlike me. "Wanna have some fun?" I asked Holly with my seductive voice.

"You've read my mind I was starting to think you've gone soft."

"What me soft? Never." I dragged Holly into the nearest bathroom and what was meant to be a quickie turned into something a whole lot more. "Damn Williams you never disappoint." Holly said trying to catch her breath. "You know me." I said winking at her and walking out of the bathroom.

Second hour was almost over, when I got to class I knocked and entered before the teacher open the door for me. "Ms Williams you're late." Mrs Brice said and before I could answer she yelled detention. I groaned and took my seat at the back of the class.

It was lunch time and I was walking in the cafeteria to get lunch. My friends and I decided to chill outside today since it was a bit warm. When I got outside I sat down and my friends were looking at me weirdly. "What?" I asked looking back at them. "You got detention!" My friends yelled monotonously. "Yeah and? Don't act surprised it's normal for me to get detention." I said rolling my eyes.

"Yeah we know but today you're meeting Ms Miller." Bryson said and my eyes widened as I realized how I fucked up. What have I done I thought to myself, Madison seems like a person who doesn't take bullshit and I don't think she wants people wasting her time coz she's a busy woman.

I looked at my friends and said, "you have to help me with this one."

"No we don't." Kelly said you'll have to deal with the consequences of your actions.
