Hello guys! Sorry for the long wait. I've been working on my main fic:Love Only Happens Once... Don't Miss It, but I've been stuck on writing the conflict. So, I decided to flash forward and write some other small stories.

This one takes place after Priya/Ishita believes Pooja/Ruhi is dead, and attempts to k!ll herself. She's been in Australia for 6 years and now she's back. Adi and Pooja have convinced Priya and Arjun to go to a resort for three days to make amends, and they agree just for them. Let's see how these two get back together ;)

*Note: Pallavi = Pihu

"I'm only doing this for Pooja and Adi'' Priya murmurs, climbing into the passenger seat. "So not Pallavi, the only one who's actually your child?" Arjun says, buckling his seat belt. "Oh but I thought Pallavi was only yours and Vandhana's child?" Priya asks, faking surprise. "Because I'm a maladie right? So obviously I couldn't have given birth to Pallavi, and I could never be her Amma." "Enough." Arjun hits the dashboard. "I'm not doing this, not today." "I'm just repeating what you told me," Priya whispers, her eyes burning. "I'm only doing this for Pooja and Adi too, okay? Pallavi would be crushed if she knew, her whole world is centered around me and Vandhana." "So you basically brought her up the same way Adi was brought up. With vesham in her heart, so that she will do the same things Adi did to separate us." Arjun slams the dashboard again, making Priya jump. "Can you stop already. You're always picking fights, you never changed over the last 6 years." "What did you expect? We were never meant for each other. It was the biggest mistake in my life marrying such an insensitive person. I could have just been an Aiya for Pooja." "Well what about me? I married you for Pooja and now look where we are!" Arjun yells. "Now can you please shut up until we get there." Priya murmurs a yes, still refusing to look Arjun in the eye.

They arrive at the hotel soon enough, and head to their room. Sure enough, there was only one bed, and no sofa in sight. "Was this your plan the whole time? Pretend it was Pooja and Adi's idea to take me out and then force me into forgiving you?!" "You're yelling at me like I'm the one who booked the room! It was Pooja and Adi that booked the room. Probably booked one without a sofa too, knowing our sleeping situation before." Priya huffs, setting her bag down on a chair. "I can sleep on the floor," she says, scanning the room. "Just need to request a couple extra pillows and blankets." Arjun follows her in placing his bag on the chair. "I'll sleep on the floor, you sleep on the bed." "No, then you're back will ache in the morning, you will take the bed." "Why do you care so much about my back huh? You will take the bed and that's final." "I'm not some heartless, insensitive jerk to not care about strangers. Even if I despise them, I won't hurt them in the worst ways." "So you're saying that I'm a jerk now?" "If the shoe fits." Priya murmurs. "You know who's acting like a jerk now?" Arjun says, cornering Priya against the wall. "You. We came on this 'trip' because Pooja and Adi finally gave me a chance for them to forgive me. I'm not going to let your attitude ruin that chance." They were now inches apart, their breaths intermingling between them. Both could feel the chemistry that attempted to pull their lips together. The air filled with painful memories of their time together. They can't help but lose themselves in each other's eyes, transporting back to 6 years ago when life was perfect.

Before they realize it, their lips are brushing against each other, feeling like a dream that could disappear at any moment. The saltiness of their tears rolls down onto their lips, as their breaths intermix into one. A phone notification snaps them out of their fantasies as they separate as quickly as it happened. Priya is the first to speak. "I won't ruin this night, just so you can make it up to Pooja and Adi, but this can't happen again." She whispers, resisting the urge to look at Arjun. Arjun gives a sound of reluctant approval, before speaking. "We can share the bed. Nothing will happen, don't worry." He finally looks up to Priya, noticing her flushed cheeks. She nods, still avoiding eye contact.
