She lets the water run down her body, trying not to remember the past night. It was an impossible task. They fit together like puzzle pieces, and she knew deep down that her body ached for that during the past 6 years. Her tears mixed with the shower water as she awkwardly attempted to scrub away the memory. She wanted nothing more than to run into his open arms and pour out the pain from the past years. Nothing more than to feel his warmth and have their unique love back again. But it wasn't possible. Not after the words he threw in her face. Out of everyone in the world, he was the last person she expected to hurt her in this way. Maladie. A word like that cannot be scrubbed away.

"Priya?" He knocks on the door softly. He hears the lock turn and Priya steps out, her eyes puffy and nose red. It was obvious she had been crying, not that he looked any different. "Priya..." "Washroom free," she sighed, moving into the room. "Priya, I'm sorry about Pallavi." Arjun blurts out before he could backtrack. Priya meets his eyes, sucking in her lips. "She's a child. Your child. Paal-kul vesham ootinal-" "athu paal da thapilla." Arjun finishes. "Still, I should have raised her better. I should have told her about you, and not let Vandhana poison her mind." Priya remains silent, moving towards her bag. "Like I said, it's done now."

This isn't the Arjun from 6 years ago. She packs away the clothes from yesterday and pulls out her makeup and jewellery. In these two days, Arjun has apologized more than he has in his entire life. He owned up to each and every one of his mistakes and apologized for them. He even admitted his feelings. Priya lets out a quiet chuckle, remembering how long it took Arjun to say I love you in the past. It took a lot of convincing and pushing for him to be this open about his feelings and to take responsibility for his actions. "Should I forgive him?" She wonders, putting on her earrings. Her eyes burn at the thought of forgiving him. God knows how much she wanted things to go back to normal.

As she starts applying her makeup, Arjun steps out of the washroom, drying his hair with a towel. She goes to apply foundation when she notices red marks just below her neck. "Looks like I haven't lost touch huh?" Arjun jokes, pushing a small smile. Priya stifles her smile, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of her happiness. "You can't hide your smile from me, mangamma." The pet name forces Priya to freeze, bringing back more memories in front of both their eyes. The smile quickly falls, as Priya stops the sobs that threaten to come from her mouth. Arjun naturally steps forward, but Priya stops him with her hand. Taking a deep breath, she rubs her face and starts covering the red marks with foundation.
