One year in prison passed rather quickly. I can even say that it wasn't that unpleasant because my cellmates turned out to be super cool. None of them were in because of a violent crime and our stories were actually quite similar. Once we noticed that, we became quite close.
After the talk we had about money, Yusuke came a few more times, but I refused to see him. When he finally understood I was adamant, he started to send me letters which I had never read. Although I knew he was nice for a reason, it still devastated me to learn that reason. I was always cold to him, but it didn't mean that I wasn't used to his presence and weird sense of humour.
Although I returned all the letters, he kept bringing me letters and bags with necessities and books, constantly dragging my mind and heart into war.
Soon, Yusuke gave up from sending letters as well, but the bags continued to come. Well, that was complicated. Six months left until my release, the bags stopped coming as well; however, two months left until my release, they came again periodically. I thought it was because my release was soon. He wanted to coax me so that I would still give him some money.
I didn't touch any of those bags.
