"Kazuya, I-"
"Shhsh!" I put my finger on his swollen lips and silenced him. As we shared a heated kiss for a good minute, there was no question about our feelings being mutual. An apology could ruin the moment and I wouldn't let that happen after loving him secretly for that long.
Removing my finger, I asked "did you hate it?" My heart was beating in my mouth with the fear of his affirmative answer, but there was no turning back. Even if he didn't love me, as long as he didn't hate to kiss me, I could pave my way into his heart slowly.
Yusuke stared at me for a second- it was one thousand years for me- and blushed profoundly, "no, I didn't hate it. Although it was wrong what I did, it felt so right."
BAAM!
Officially, I was the happiest man alive!
I jumped to my feet and enveloped Yusuke into a tight hug, "thank you and I love you."
I felt Yusuke go stiff for a second, hearing my confession, but then circled his arms around my waist, equally tight, "I love you too, Kazuya. I am so sorry to confess this late," he said softly, making funny things to my heart.
I pulled myself a bit and cupped Yusuke's blushed cheeks, "then I will seal our new beginning," I said and smashed our lips again. This time, it was more gentle than our first kiss. We explored each other's mouths as we claimed to be each other's.
When we were satisfied with the exploration, I cleaned around while Yusuke went to take a shower. As I was highly inexperienced in the matter of hearts, I didn't know what would be the next step.
Should I wait for him to finish showering or just go to bed so that he won't feel overwhelmed? Is a goodnight kiss too much after kissing two times in the same day?
As I was too immersed in my thoughts, I didn't notice Yusuke's existence by my side.
"What are you thinking?"
I jumped out of my skin and Yusuke rubbed my arm with an apologetic look, "are you okay?"
I shook my head, "nothing," I replied with a smile and stood up on my jelly legs, "so... good night?"
Yusuke let out a soft chuckle and followed my suit. "So you don't want some more kissing or cuddles?" he asked with a pout and he didn't need to say more as the moment he finished his sentence, I scooped his light body up and carried him to his room in bridal style.
We lay there in each other's arms in a blissful silence. As Yusuke was exhausted patrolling around all night long, I just made use of a chaste kiss and lulled him into sleep while caressing his soft threads.
I don't know when I also fell asleep, but I am sure that there was a smile on my lips when I did.
As the next morning was the first day of the year, it was a holiday, so we didn't have any alarms on. When I opened my eyes, it was already past ten, but I had no problem with that as it was the best sleep I got for a long while. Slowly I tilted my head downwards to see my beloved's face. Apparently, Yusuke shifted in his sleep as now he was sleeping on my right arm, using it as a pillow, and his right arm swirled around my waist while his right leg was on my legs. He was like a koala clenching on a tree, so cute!
Because I was whipped for Yusuke with all my existence, I could neither wake him up nor leave the bed. Therefore, I just kept lying motionlessly and watched his cute face, my hand caressing his dishevelled hair.
It took another twenty minutes for Yusuke to wake up. He fidgeted a bit and opened his eyes slowly. "I am hungry," he said out of the blue, making me chuckle.
"Good morning you too," I teased him and he hid his face using my chest. I kissed his hair and disentangled myself from his limbs. "I will prepare breakfast, you can take your time," I said lovingly and left the room.
Although I gave him the opportunity to be lazy on the bed, Yusuke soon showed up in the kitchen. He circled his arms around my waist from behind, pinning me on the spot.
"Let me cook first, I can hear your rumbling stomach," I teased him and he broke the hug and grabbed the rice bag.
"I was just trying to get the bag, what did you think?" he teased me back and went to the sink to wash the rice.
Smiling and chatting, we prepared breakfast. Well, Yusuke just made the rice... with a rice cooker. Oh, he also set the table, this is important.
"This is the best rice I have ever had!" I stroke again while we were eating.
"Stop it," he whined, his face flustered, "why do you banter me?"
"Because I love it when you blush, so cute," I admitted easily, earning more blush from Yusuke.
"It is the first day of our dating, yet you have already been teasing your boyfriend," he said, feigning sadness and I gave in immediately.
It was amazing how natural we were. Even though it was only a day we were dating, I felt as if Yusuke was my boyfriend for years. We understood each other very well, so there was nothing awkward about the way we teased each other.
I swear that I was never this happy in my entire life. Yusuke was my sole source of happiness, my shelter... and knowing that my love was reciprocated sent me to cloud nine.
