Natalie was sitting at the dining table, just scrolling through social media when she notice that the next season of America's Got Talent was starting in a few weeks. She decided to go and tell Bailey, but when she went to look for her, she wasn't in the living room.
Natalie decided to check upstairs, but she had to go to the bathroom first. When she opened the door, she was busy looking at her phone until she heard, "Yo, get out!"
Startled, Natalie looked up from her phone and saw Bailey with wet hair and only wearing a towel. "Oh geez!" she yelled. "I'm sorry, Bailey, I thought-"
"What are you doing?" Bailey continued to question, and she gripped her towel and lip gloss. "Get out!"
"I'm so sorry, I w-was looking for you, and I thought you were in the bedroom, and I had-"
"Natalie? Get. Out."
Finally Natalie ran out of the room and shut the door, wondering why Bailey didn't lock it. Bailey shook her head and continued to put her lip gloss on as she muttered, "That's twice now that I've forgotten to lock it."
Natalie, still trying to process what just happened opened the door and saw Daisy laying on the bed in a pile of clothes Bailey left everywhere. She sighed and said, "Hi, Daisy! Oh my goodness, why does Bailey have to leave a mess everywhere she goes?"
She started picking up the clothes scattered everywhere. "All her 'Hollywood Designer' clothing," she said, tossing it into the hamper. She sat on the bed and started organizing the things. "Book.. another book.. diary.. magazine- wait, what? Diary?!" She tossed the other books aside and stared at the booklet labelled Private. Do not read.
"No," Natalie said to herself, "I probably shouldn't read that. It'll have a lot of personal stuff in it." She got off the bed and stared at the booklet. She thought for a moment, then grabbed it again and flopped on the bed. "Well, she shouldn't have left it out in the open."
She flipped open the book to the earliest date, and read, "Dear Diary: It's my 13th birthday, and today the police found me trying to steal a shirt from the mall. I'm so lucky I'm too young to go to jail. Written in 2013."
She flipped through a couple pages, and found one that looked interesting. "Dear Diary: I am hiding a secret from my boyfriend, Dan. I'm cheating on him with Mark Rogers, and I'm hoping neither of them find out. Written in 2014."
Natalie's jaw dropped, as she remembered Mark being one of the most popular guys in their grade 10 year of high school. She flipped through some more. "Dear Diary: I'm in tears right now.. Mark just figured out that I'm dating Dan, and he dumped me. I mean, at least I still have Dan, but I kinda liked Mark better. Written in 2014."
Natalie started chuckling at the fact that Dan probably wouldn't have even cared if he found out Bailey was dating Mark. She wasn't surprised that Dan never found out though; he wasn't the brightest kid out there. She opened the booklet to another page.
"Dear Diary: Today, something really crazy happened, but this one.. nobody can know about."
"Ooh!" Natalie said as she continued to read, "During math class today, I accidentally crapped my pants. Nobody figured out (thank God) because I went to the bathroom right away, but nobody can know about this. Written in 2015-"
"Hey, Natalie," Bailey said as she opened the door to the bedroom. Natalie screamed and whipped the booklet across the room.
"Oh, hey Bailey!" she stuttered. "Uh, what are you up to?"
"I'm just looking for my brush, have you seen it?"
"Oh, right here." She grabbed her brush off the bed and handed it to her.
