The 2 of us woke up. Actually, Tadashi didn't seem to be awake yet.
"Tadashi, wake up, we're gonna be late for Suga and Daichi."
"Mmm, I wanna sleep, Tsukki," he groaned.
"Get up."
"Do I have to?"
"I could tell them that you refused to get out of bed at five pm, if that's what you'd like."
"Is it already five?"
"Four forty-five."
"Tsukki, I'm tired.."
"I don't care."
I stood up, still wearing my volleyball clothes. Suga would most definitely belittle me for not changing after school, so I had to switch into the outfit in my bag. Simply shorts and a t-shirt.
"I'm changing, so stay there," I said. He didn't respond.
I took my shirt off and put on a plain white T, then changed into my shorts. I rolled Tadashi over, then he opened his eyes and looked at mine.
"Get out of bed."
"Fine."
Tadashi finally got out of bed, changed, and we headed out. We'd meet Suga and Daichi at a park that hardly anybody went to.
"Did it get colder outside?" Tadashi said.
"Maybe. Take your sweatshirt if you're that cold," I responded, shoving his sweatshirt into him. He slipped it on.
"Does this look bigger than usual to you?"
"I don't know. I mean, you seem shorter every time I look at you, so maybe it's that."
He walked slightly in front of me. I read the back of his sweatshirt. Wait, his sweatshirt says my name. No, it's my sweatshirt. That's why it's big on him. The mistake was funny to me, so I wouldn't point it out.
We walked to the park. I saw Suga and Daichi sitting on a bench together already.
"See, Tadashi? That's what happens when you wait to get out of bed."
"Sorry, Tsukki."
"Tsukishima! Yamaguchi!" Suga exclaimed as he turned around to look at us. They both walked towards us. Daichi greeted us too. I stood partially behind Tadashi to block myself from any hugs. And I was right to. Suga hugged Tadashi, and thankfully not me. "Hey, is your sweatshirt a little big?" He asked.
"That's what I said, but Tsukki didn't say so."
"Weird. Tsukishima, how've you been?" Daichi asked.
"I've been fine, same as always," I fibbed, and turned my head. I wasn't doing the same as always. I was thinking of what had happened earlier with Tadashi.
"Are you sure? You always glare to your left when you're lying," Daichi remarked. I looked surprised and impressed at his observation.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I replied.
"You just did it again! What are you hiding, Tsukki?"
"Ugh, how many times do I need to tell you not to call me that?"
Tadashi turned his body to look at me. I suddenly regretted not telling him about the sweatshirt. I pushed his shoulder so he would turn back around, but he didn't.
"Woah, are you guys dating?" Daichi asked.
"Ooh, I've been waiting for this. Spill," Suga said.
"Ungh, what makes you say that?" I scoffed. I accidentally looked away again, just like Daichi had said before.
