Definitely Not My Favorite People

I've been so scared to post this chapter ngl because I don't know how good it is if at all

"I'm bored," Tadashi whined.

"Oh really, are you? I had no idea," I sarcastically remarked, as he had already said it over and over.

"Well I wanna do something," he continued.

"Then tell me what you want to do."

"I don't know what I wanna do."

"Then we won't do anything."

"But I'm bored!"

I sighed. "Fine. Okay, let me think."

Tadashi looked at me with his eyes wide with anticipation.

"I know: I have somewhere we're going soon. But we're not leaving until you guess where it is."

"I have to guess? Can't you just tell me?"

"Nope."

"I don't know."

"Just try guessing."

"Give me a hint."

"It's somewhere you like."

After what felt like forever of complaining and whining, Tadashi made a guess. For some reason, it was going to a store. But, by telling him it was somewhere he likes, I made him guess only places he liked. And apparently he liked shopping.

"...Yup, that's what we're doing," I sighed.

"Okay, let's do it then!"

"Alright."

I drove to the store that Tadashi said.

"Cart or no cart?" I asked.

"Cart."

I grabbed a cart. We started walking. The store was very large. After we walked away from the entrance, Tadashi signaled for me to stop. He walked beside the cart.

"What are you- oh my fuck, Tadashi," I sighed as he started to climb in the cart. He just sat there with a childish grin. "Get out of the cart."

"No, I think I'll stay here."

"Out."

"I'm good." I glared at him. He smiled innocently. "Please?"

My glare grew more intense. "Fine."

I started walking again. He wanted to walk around a lot.

"What are we getting?"

"We don't need to get anything. Just looking."

I rolled my eyes. "Okay then."

"Actually- you're the one who decided we were coming here, so did you need anything?"

"Wait, you didn't get the- I lied," I scoffed like it was obvious. "That was entirely a lie, I just needed to figure out where you wanted to go."

"What? Seriously?"

"I'm surprised you didn't get it sooner."

"Well-"

"I mean that was the worst lie I've ever told. There was no structure to it at all."

"Yeah, but- I guess that makes sense."

"Okay, where are we going in this place?"

"Uhm, I don't know, we should walk around the whole store."

"If you say so."

I started walking. Tadashi admired everything we walked by. From clothes, to snacks, everything. He wanted to go down the lego aisle.
