Chicago - Chapter 3

Flash forward to March

Shai's Pov

"Shai!"
" I love you so much!"
"Can I please have an autograph?!?!"

I turn around and see these three teenage girls, probably around fifteen or sixteen years old, standing behind me. My agent, Amanda, and I are waiting in the departure lounge of the airport. We are boarding a plane to Chicago in a few minutes to meet the rest of the cast and have a costume fitting.

" Oh my gosh, I you so much! Your literally my favorite actress and my biggest role-model!" The one girl says.

" Thank you so much! What are your guys names?" I ask them.

"I'm Liz..." the first girl, the one who said I was her biggest-role model, says.

" And I'm Sage," the second girl says.

" This is our friend Brittany." Liz says gesturing to her friend who looks to stunned to talk.

" Nice to meet you all!" I say giving them each a quick hug.

" Are you heading to Chicago for Divergent? I heard last week that you had been casted as Tris." Sage asks me.

" Yeah, I am, actually. We're having a small cast meet-and-great and we're also getting fitting for our costumes, even though the actual filming dosen't start quite yet."

" Isn't Miles going to be playing that Peter guy?" The third girl, Brittany, asks. She finally seems to have gotten the courage to talk to me.

"Yeah, he is. I love Miles, he's one of my best friends, and I'm excited to be working with him again." Miles was actually one of the ways I found out about the role and the audition. We both wanted to be in another movie together because we have such a great friendship and we haven't really been able to spend that much time together lately.

When we did The Spectacular Now a lot of people started thinking we should get together. We even had a "ship" name, Shiles, which I heard about from an interviewer a while ago. Nothing romantic has ever happened between Miles and I and I doubt it ever will. He has a long-term girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry, who I'm actually also really close friends with. I also think it would be extremely weird to date Miles. He is honestly like a brother to me and I know that I'm also a sisterly figure to him in a way. We both actually found it quite hilarious that so many people wanted us to date, just because we both know that would never happen.

I finish having a quick conversation with the girls and take a quick picture with them before someone, I'm assuming one of the girl's mothers, calls them over. They are also obviously heading to Chicago, but they actually live there. They had had a week off of school and decided to go to California for vacation.

" I just got some news from Neil," Amanda says, handing me a cup of coffee. " He said that on Wednesday, when we get back from Chicago, he's going to need you to head to the casting office. He has a couple of auditions for the role of Four lined up and he needs you to be there."

They have had a really hard time finding someone to play Four. They've auditioned over 100 people, but none of them worked out. Some of them they thought had some potential, but after I had the chemistry test with them we all realized they wouldn't work. A lot of the guys seemed to back down and were a little "afraid" of me in a sense. I also appeared to be a lot stronger then some of the guys, which wouldn'ttwork for obvious reasons.

"Okay, good." I say.

Amanda and I then wait to board the plane and head off to Chicago.

Okay, this chapter is extremely short and it honestly sucked. This is just a "filler" chapter, I'll try to have an actually, long chapter come soon. I haven't had time to update lately but luckily I'm now on spring break. My whole grade at school is going on vacation together this Thursday and it takes over 9 hours to get to our destination, so hopefully I'll be able to pre-write a lot and post a few times over the trip, considering its going to take over 18 hours to get there and back.

How was everyones Easters? My friend went to Chicago for Easter and I think she may have (or is going to) visit some of the places where Divergent was filmed. Did you guys do anything exciting over spring break?
