Chapter 7- The Lion King
Shai's Pov
Knock, Knock, Knock.
"Come in, Theodore! The doors unlocked." I yell after hearing someone knocking on my apartment door. Tonight Miles, Zoe, Ansel, Theo, and I are having a sort-of movie night. Theo is the only one who has yet to arrive, so I assume the person knocking on the door is him.
The door swings open revealing Theo standing on the other side.
"For the twentieth time, don't call me Theodore, Shailene!" He says, pretending to be angry. I know, even though he's acting pissed, he really dosen't care.
"You're right, I'm sorry Theodore." I say jokingly. He just rolls his eyes in response.
"When's the pizza gonna' get here?" Miles wines from the loving room.
Zoe and Miles are both lying on a blanket on the floor while Ansel is sitting on the couch.
"Any minute now." I answer.
We're a few weeks into filming already and we're all very good friends. The entire cast hangs out whenever we have free days and we all enjoy each other's company.
Theo, Miles, Ansel, Zoe, and I, however, have a closer friendship with each other then with anyone else. I think it's because we're all around the same age and we all have the same sick, twisted, sense of humor.
Theo and I walk over to the couch along with the rest of our friends.
"So," Theo asks. "What movie are we going to be watching?"
"Well," Zoe answers. " Have you ever heard of The Lion King?"
"Yeah." Theo answers.
"Of course." Miles adds.
"Well, the other day Zoe and I were talking to Ansel and it turns out he has somehow never seen that movie." I say.
"What?" Theo asks.
"How has one never seen The Lion King?" Miles asks.
"I don't know," Ansel answers. " I just never have."
"That's what we're watching tonight." Zoe says.
"Seriously?" Theo asks. " I mean it's a good movie and everything, but I'm not exactly in the mood to watch a kids movie. It's not exactly what I had in mind."
"Yes, seriously, so man up and watch The Lion King with us!" I yell.
"Fine."
Just after I convinced Theo to stop complaining, the doorbell rings.
"PIZZZAAA!" Miles yells, standing up from the air-mattress and darting to the door.
He swings the door opens and practically yanks the pizza boxes from the guy.
"Thank you for you pizza-delivering services" he says, shoving some money in the guys hand and them slamming the door.
Miles carries the pizza over to the coffee table in the living room. Everyone grabs a plate that I've already put on the table and grabs a slice of pizza.
After everyone has their food and is comfortable on the couch, Zoe starts the movie.

"Okay, bye Shai, I'll see you tomorrow!" Miles says, leaving my apartment.
"Yeah, see you on set." Ansel adds.
Ansel, Zoe, and Miles all leave my apartment since the movie is now over. Right as Theo is also about to leave his phone rings.
"Hello?" he asks the person on the phone. "Yeah......I'm looking forward to you coming to visit too........of course..........it's no trouble at all."
I wonder who he's talking to.
"Yeah," he continues saying. "I love you too. Bye."
'I love you?'
I wonder who that was.
"That was my mom," he explains once he's done talking on the phone. "She's coming to visit in a few days."
"Oh, really?" I ask.
"Yeah, she's never been on a movie or TV set before. She'll only be here for a little while, though so she shouldn't be too much of a distraction."
"I'm sure nobody will mind that she's here."
"You're probably right. I haven't seen her, or any of my family, for a while because of filming. It'll be good to see her even though I wish my dad could come as well."
"I'm sure he'll have a chance to visit sometime as well," I say. "If not for this movie, for something else I'm sure."
"Yeah, you're right," he says. "I should probably get going. It's pretty late already and we have to be on set early tomorrow."
"Goodnight, Theodore." I say, pulling him into a hug.
"Goodnight, Shailene."
