you were getting ready now. you tried a different make up look than usual and you looked hot as fuck. you put on your tight, backless dress and made your way downstairs.

as you walked inside of the party, you felt many gazes on you. it made you feel powerful.

"you look beautiful, lady y/n."
thor came from behind you.

"thank you thor, you too"
you smiled at him.

"i look beautiful?"
he smiled and narrowed his eyes.

"ugh. why do men always react like that when i tell them that they look beautiful?!"
you rolled your eyes.

"i guess they are just not used to being called beautiful from such a good looking lady like you."
he winked and walked away.

you walked closer into the party and received many compliments on the way. every time a man complimented you, and you answered with 'you too' they gave the same reaction as thor. it pissed you off but you were glad that they heard you saying it.

you saw nat behind the bar making drinks. she was wearing a hot, tight, white dress and had red lipstick on. she looked gorgeous.

"hello, hot bar lady."
you greeted her as you sat down on the bar.

she giggled.
"hello y/n. you look amazing. want a drink?"

"would i ever say 'no' to a drink?"
you narrowed your eyes and the both of you laughed. she started making the drink and chatted meanwhile.

as you got your cocktail and took a sip from it, you looked around in the party to spot some people. you saw tony with some rich people you don't know, bruce with thor, wanda with loki and pietro with a new guy that you don't know. you started grinning like an idiot when you saw them.

you got interrupted by steve and bucky. they sat on the bar a few seats away from you.
"two whiskeys, please"
steve ordered. he looked over at you.

"y/n. took you long enough."
he smiled.
"you look good today."

you smiled back at him.
"thanks steve, you look good too."

he just smiled and turned his head to bucky. finally someone who doesn't make that annoying comment.

"i haven't seen you behind the bar in years."
you started talking to nat again.

"yeah i know, i really missed it. it's fun."
she smirked as she poured the whiskey in two glasses for the boys.

you looked over at them and saw bucky staring at you. you shook your head and turned around to the crowd again. you spotted peter and harley. harley wore a grey suit and his hair was messy. you always loved his messy hair.

20 minutes and 3 whiskeys later, you were a bit tipsy. you ordered another cocktail and made your way into the dancing crowd. you were grinding on some random drunk guy but he got pulled away from his date again.

"WOOO ITS CHRISTMAS BITCHES"
you shouted and walked over to loki and wanda.
"hello lover girl and lover boy"
you said in a drunk tone. wanda giggled but loki wanted to take away the cocktail from you, just in case. you took it out of his hands with your powers so it was floating between the both of you and grabbed it again.
"don't you dare to take away my cocktail again."
you walked away from them and made your way to the dancing crowd again.

tony came over to you with bruce and thor. tony was very drunk already.

you teased.
"hello hot stuff"
he winked at you.

the both of you started dancing together and had fun. after a while bruce and thor took him away again because he was nearly throwing up. you still were in the mood to dance so you went up to a random group that was dancing and just danced with them. they went for it, i mean, they were drunk so of course they did.

your hips swayed to the music that was blasting you your ears. you felt someone poking your shoulders. you turned around and saw harley. you needed to look up since he was very tall.

"hey y/n"
he smiled at you.

"hello harley. you look-"
you wanted to compliment him but someone pushed you from the back by accident and you spilled your cocktail over harley's suit.

"oh my fucking god i'm so sorry"
you started to rub his chest and tried to clean the suit.

"y/n it's ok"
he said.

"no it's not. i ruined your suit."
you didn't stop rubbing it.

"it's ok, angel."

you stopped immediately. your hands still on his chest. you were in shock. he hasn't called you this name in years, he always used to do it back then.

you locked eyes with him and just had eye contact for way too long as many memories came back. you didn't know what to do. your hands were still laying on his chest, your eyes were still locked with his. suddenly you felt his hands laying on your waist slowly. he came closer and closer. you knew what he was doing and you didn't want to refuse it.

soon enough he was less than an inch away from your face. you could smell his cologne mixed with some smell of whiskey. he started to press his lips against yours slowly. his lips were so soft. you didn't hesitate and kissed him back. it was a sweet kiss, but very passionate. after a few seconds you broke the kiss and pushed him away slightly.

"no. no no no."
you quickly regretted this.

"what?"

"harley i can't do this.. again. i'm sorry, but, no."
you turned around to walk away but then turned around again to say one last thing.
"sorry about your suit by the way, i'll buy you a new one."
he nodded and smiled very slightly.
you turned around once again to walk over to pietro.

"pietro please shoot me right now."
you had your hands over your face so you couldn't see him. as you took them away you saw the guy was still here.
"oh my god. oh my fucking god. i'm so sorry. hi! i'm y/n"
you stretched out your hand for him to shake it. he did as you expected.

"i'm zayn, nice to meet you, i've heard many things about you"
he smiled. you smiled back and narrowed your eyes.

"only good things. don't worry."
the three of you chatted and laughed together. they made fun of you because you couldn't stand still since you were a bit drunk. you liked zayn.

"and why exactly did you want me to shoot you?"
pietro chuckled.

"oh, uhm. i will tell you after this party. let's have fun first."
pietro nodded.

"sorry y/n, but we need to leave you now. this man right here promised me a dance earlier"
zayn said as he grabbed pietros arm and pulled him into the dance crowd.
"wooo"
you shouted after pietro. he looked at you and smiled brightly.

you walked over to the bar where nat was. you really needed some water right now to calm yourself down.

you just kissed fucking harley keener. again. after 4 years. after he broke your heart in thousand pieces.
