Mingzhu was transported into a type of Pengxie sanctuary. She stood before a gathering of Pengxie, who all looked at her in awe. The Pengxie King at the forefront seemed to have a wingspan of forty-five feet and stood towering above the young goddess. He was bright shiny silver with lavender stripes, the most beautiful Pengxie she'd ever encountered.
"Chosen One," he said in a deep voice. She tried to speak but was unable to utter a sound in this place. "You may only listen here, child. There are a few things you must know before leaving these Holy Grounds." She nodded. "Good, I will begin. I am Qiangda, the first Pengxie King. I will explain the path of the Chosen One, the Pengdaxia, to you. There is only one Pengdaxia in a millennium. They are a person of great courage and honesty who knows the value of all life and nature, and who respects the Pengxie Clan wholeheartedly. The Pengdaxia is revealed during a time of great need and great evil in the Abyss. The Pengdaxia will retain their position in this land until their death whether that be in one thousand or one hundred thousand years. As long as they live, the Pengdaxia will carry the burden of all life in the Abyss. As the Abyss has been our home since the time of our forefather, Peng, we have been given the great honor of guarding this beautiful land as well. A great Army of Pengxie warriors was created millennia ago and continues to this day. This is the Pengdaxia's Pengxie Army. Once the Chosen One appears, they are given full command.
"At least once a millennium, a great evil descends upon this land, and we are given the task of repelling it. But we can only do so under the guidance of the Pengdaxia. With the Pengxie crown upon your head, you have now been given dominion over all Pengxie. You are meant to unite them under one banner to fight evil and injustice. The Chosen One is able to communicate directly with the Elders and top generals of the clan. You are able to call them from across the Abyss if need be. They may not leave the Peaks under normal circumstances, but if called by the Pengdaxia all Pengxie will heed the call. They will even go to the mountains if the circumstance warrants it.
"There are also a few benefits to being chosen as the Pengdaxia. You may choose a general to serve as your Rider. The Rider will accompany you at all times. Though they will not always be seen. A Forest Tattoo will be placed around your left forearm, it will serve as the Rider's retreat. The general will live in this retreat and will only reveal himself if called upon or if you are in danger. He will be able to hear and see everything happening around you and will serve as a guard as well. The Pengxie general who is chosen will receive the Great Knowledge which gives him all information regarding prior invasions. He will be your keeper of the truth. He will be able to communicate with other immortals through all common languages known in the Great Knowledge. It also shows him the location of the harness, you will need this to soar with the Rider, and the Divine Sword.
"The Divine Sword is passed to each subsequent Pengdaxia, accompanying them for a lifetime, returning to its tomb only when the Chosen One dies. It is easily recognizable because of its bright purple blade. It is made of a few of Peng's bones. An alloy of titanium, purple alexandrite, and Peng's rib bone, ensure the blade is strong and powerful, with the ability to eradicate evil with a single touch if used at the highest level. The hilt and handle are carved of Peng's pinky bone and are in the shape of a Pengxie's wingspan and tail. Its sheath is also precious, holding six sacred stones. It was formed of my hide, inlaid with a blessing and the stones run down the center of the sheath, holding supportive qualities for the Pengdaxia. The Apophyllite is white quartz, able to recognize truth. The Labradorite is a deep blackish blue, connecting the Pengdaxia to the Pengxie ancestors. This stone can be used to bring you to us, but you must have a specific question in your mind for us to be able to help you. The Tiger Eye increases personal power, it is black with orange striations. The Selenite offers clarity of mind, a grainy white stone. The deep lavender Spirit Quartz is uplifting. And the black Sodalite helps the Pengdaxia recognize self-truth within themselves. They will all have their use in this war.
