Running back

What really happened

I heard footsteps walking away from my door and I ducked my head out just as I saw a red haired girl run out the door.

"Alix!", I called after her. The door slammed in my face. I set my left hand and my forehead on the door, I was so annoyed with myself.

My right hand curled into a fist making contact to the door. Pain automatically shot through my arm causing me to shake my hand out.

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out. "Akuma aler-", it said before I watched it disappear from my hand.

In its place I held a small stone tablet that read, 'akuma alert'. I raised an eyebrow and watched as various things in my house changed to things I would expect to be around centuries ago.

I opened the door to see the same thing happening outside.

I ran down the block, heading for Marinette's. I didn't need a fancy stone to tell me who was akumatized.

I watched her leap over me and entirely changing costumes over head. I furrowed my eyebrows and kept running. Ok, no LB then.

I can still talk to Cat noir right?

Then a different looking Cat noir jumped over me. I face palmed and headed for what I hoped was Marinette's...um tent?

The tar was turning to beaten trails that looked like they had been warn down from chariot trails.

Tumbleweed blew through and sand hit my eyes. The buildings became tents and the people weren't the Parisians I knew.

Then I was zapped forward in time.

I steadied my position so I wasn't entirely falling over. I pulled a Marinette and managed to miraculously stay standing.

I looked around to see different times crashing together. On my left Egyptian pyramids rose up out of the sands and on my right there was what looked like a holographic building.

I walked forward almost bumping into a group of knights, it was interesting to watch different times interact but I knew it was dangerous.

"Le Chién Kim!", a woman's voice called. I turned confused as to who knew who I was.

Before me stood a woman with long sleek white hair that was pulled back in a two braids that almost swept the ground, her eyes bright blue but the ombré effect of the different shades was mesmerizing.

She was mainly dressed in blue and white  clothing, it was very Chinese themed. I watched in awe as she created a portal.

"Come with me", she spoke, pulling me in. I was sucked into the portal and it closed seconds after I stepped in.

"Where are you taking me?", I asked. A silver bowl was placed on my head and I was pulled around, a little violently.

I stayed quiet trying to figure out what was going on. Pieces of this complicated puzzle wove through my brain, pieces being pulled from different places and restacked where they were supposed to be like Jenga blocks.

I must have been quiet for awhile because the woman finally introduced herself. "You know who I am Le Chién Kim, we've met one before, but I was in kwami form then, the names Fluff. Pleasure to formerly meet you", the now identified woman spoke.

"Fluff? As in the rabbit kwami?", I asked, trying to see her from tilting the bowl. She slammed the bowl down even harder the second time, probably destroying my hair.

"That's me, I need a favor from you", Fluff said tiredly. I wondered if she ever got any sleep as she continued.

"One of my future holders has been akumatized at some point in time and it looks like the universe wants you to fix it", Fluff sighed.
