What were you doing all day?

"Marinette", a voice rang out. I looked around the vividly colored landscape. I walked along a overgrown path that seemed to have been old, one that had been around for thousands of years.

I slowly walked along it, the silence deafening as I tried to listen for what I thought I had heard. "Marinette", the voice echoed. That time I heard it, loud and clear.

I took of running down the path, the landscape of beautiful trees and bushes melded together as I sped past them. I felt like the Flash when I ran along.

"Marinette your running out of time", the voice continued to threaten. I ran faster trying to pinpoint where the familiar voice was coming from. My head whipped around on my sore shoulders in agony, I had to find that person. My long pigtails trailed behind me, slowing me down slightly.

The cool breeze ran over my body like I wasn't even there, the sun poking through the trees and temporarily getting in my eyes. I could occasionally hear a bird chirp or a frog croak that would counteract against the silence bringing me hope that the world wasn't dead or something.

Then I turned a corner and caught sight of a human figure. "It's good to see you again Marinette", the woman's voice was firm yet quiet. She had the voice of a follower, not in any way a leader. Her voice had always implied that she was a slight pushover which had made me feel bad for the woman.

"Natalie", I murmured. In the last 3 years Natalie had been Adrien's guardian, ever since Gabriel was discovered as Hawkmoth. But she had gone missing about a year ago, around the same time Soie Butterfly showed up.

Adrien had been crushed when the woman went missing and we searched for her as Ladybug and Cat noir for weeks but came up short. We knew someone had the moth miraculous but we were able to get the peacock miraculous from Shadow moth.

Where am I? My brain repeatedly screamed. I knew I was in a dream, but I also didn't know I was in dream. You know what I mean right? I'm not crazy?

Natalie turned to me, a light smile on her face. Surrounding her was pure white light and I could see she was holding something. A slight breeze brushes past but I only felt it on my ears and neck and through my midnight hair.

I reached my hand up to feel my constantly present earrings only to feel my smooth pale skin. I immediately panicked but I continued to walk towards Natalie.

She repositioned her hands behind her back and motioned for me to follow. Red flags were thrown in my face, I imagined this is what Peter Parker's spider sense felt like.

But I ignored it, I could trust Natalie, couldn't I? I followed Natalie on the lightly treaded path she had turned onto. The brilliant white of the sky was almost blinding against the now black and charred ground.

"Natalie, why are we going this way?", I stopped in my tracks. Where was my common sense? Why was I following her at all. It was then that I noticed various objects and symbols littering the landscape.

The pink hue of Lady WiFi's pause symbols, or the Bubblers giant bubbles floating above me. There were a few black and red arrows from Dark Cupid shot in a tree, Style Queen's golden statues scattered around.

The further I looked down the path, the more of the destructive akuma's attack items there were. I wanted to transform, it would gave made me feel safer, but unlike Natalie, I was alone.

I watched as she opened her hand. My eyes widened at the sight of my earrings. "The only way you'll get these back is by following me", Natalie continued along, as if she couldn't see the terrifying chaos she was walking into.
