Makeover for the skater

I was picking up groceries, trying to decide which chocolates to get everyone. "Lindt or Ghirardelli?", I muttered to myself.

I pointed back and forth between the two until I just grabbed several bags of both. I had way to many sandwich toppings in my cart and three different types of bread.

I was extremely tired and had downed three cups of coffee and it was only 10 in the morning.

I had yawned 37 times since I got in the store so I'm sure I looked amazing to everyone that was passing me.

Then I walked through the toy isle, or maybe it was the party isle? Don't really care at this point, and grabbed a few dozen packs of different glow sticks.

I was pumped about my idea and I couldn't wait until Alix saw what I was doing. I had just texted Max and Marinette to see if they could be there a bit earlier to help me set up before I got Alix.

It was going to be a night of rock and roll, food, and dancing in the moonlight. I personally was excited but also extremely nervous, what if Alix just flat out refused to come?

Then I remembered, right that's what the dare is for. She won't let me down if I dare her.

Alix had never turned down a dare. I just had to hope she hadn't changed since she left.

"Alright girls!", Alya announced. "Time for operation picnic party!", Alya finished. "No code names!", Rose yelled.

Alya glared but agreed when Juleka reminded her of 'operation secret garden'. "Alright so this is the plan, if Alix is like we remembered, there's one thing she can't turn down", Alya said.

"A dare", the other girls groaned in unison. "Correct", Alya proclaimed. She had taken out on off those pointer sticks to instruct what we were to do as she pulled down a picture of the park.

"Mylene, your in charge of bringing the stuff for couple bracelets", Alya started listing off. "Chloe, I need you to get a big tarp so we can setup a nice place for a dance floor", she continued.

"Sabrina, I'm sure you and Juleka can handle setting up some poles for the tarp as Trauqemoiselle and Tigresse Pourpre", Alya pointed at a sticky note drawing.

The two girls nodded in sync then they both raised a hand for a fist bump. "Rose, me and you are going to go get Alix date ready!", Alya finished.

"This is so romantic!", Rose exclaimed. "I'm also going to text the guys and have them bring the music stuff and some cool dance lights so we can dance under the moonlight", Alya finished.

"This is going to be the coolest picnic ever!", Mylene said. Then there was a knock on the door.

Alya got up but of course before answering it she rolled up the plan, just in case it was Alix. She opened the door to be met by a familiar bluenette.

"Kagami! Just the girl I need!", Alya yanked her inside, a little violently and handed her the dragon miraculous.

"Ladybug is on a mission, but right now we are trying to get Alix and Kim together and we are making sure that this picnic tonight will be perfect!", Alya explained.

After greetings from the other girls Kagami was told she'd go with Juleka and Sabrina and also keep an eye on time for everyone so they could get back to Alya's place in time to dress up for supper.

Moments later the girls were in separate cars heading to either pick up, or get something done in the time slot of 7 hours. Those 7 hours are going to be jam packed.

I got out of bed, I'd gone back to bed after my trip to the Louvre. But I woke up to a knock on my door.

I opened the door to be ran over by Alya and Rose. "Alix! Go shower! We're going to give you a makeover for a surprise tonight!", Alya yelled automatically.

I agreed, not on the makeover, the shower. I definitely needed one. So while I relaxed in the huge tub, IT HAD JETS.

I was going to stay here forever at this point. Rose and Alya where making some lunch or something.

But eventually I was forced out of the bath and into a robe or something. I brushed my teeth and put on deodorant etc. 

Honestly I was still half asleep.

I felt then messing with my hair and something kept brushing across my face, some of it was cold and liquidy and some of it tickled.

Alya kept pulling at my hair and yanking my head back, causing Rose to yell at her to stop yanking.

I must have fallen asleep at some point since I woke up at around 4ish to be told to get into a new pain of ripped jeans and a black off shoulder top, but to be careful so I didn't destroy my hair or my makeup.

I payed no attention but had the clothes on a few minutes later. As I was gulping down a few cups of coffee there was a knock at my door.

The girls giggled so I figured this was their doing. When I opened the door there was no one there, simply a glow stick with a note.

I watched the car drive away and saw familiar brown and blonde hair. I picked up the two objects. The glow stick was blue, the color of the tesseract, and my eyes.

I unfolded the note and read the simple writing.

I dare you to meet me at the park at 6, you know where, if not. Let the glow stick of destiny lead the way.

We had arrived at Alix's house to do her makeup and get her ready only for her to sleep through literally the entire thing.

I mean it was easier for us because then we didn't have to listen to her whining about it the whole time.

Rose had made some chicken strips in Alix's little gourmet air fryer for lunch while we're waiting for Alix to get out of her three hour bath. "Do you think this is going to work?", Rose asked.

I shrugged and drank my coffee. "Only one way to find out", I replied. Alix's hotel room was more like a big apartment, if I were her I'd just live here forever.

I sprawled out on her couch and wrapped up in a blanket, the only downfall is it was a little cold in here. I hadn't realized I'd fallen asleep until Rose had Alix in a robe and sitting in a chair in the middle of the living room.

I yawned and got up to grab the hair stuff from my bag. I pulled out a straightener, curler, and a blow dryer. Along with several hair ties, clips, headbands, and some fun colored hair extensions.

I didn't know why Alix was so tired but she slept through almost the whole thing. First I combed and dried her hair then straightened it out and gave it slight curls.

Rose did her makeup, it was pretty natural makeup but it made her look soft and dewy. Then Rose told a still half asleep Alix to go put on the clothes we handed her.

She walked in her hands on her hips in a tired manner. "You look so pretty Alix!", Rose exclaimed while I shot her a thumbs up.

We gave her some coffee and fixed her hair and makeup a little. Then we heard a knock at the door, me and Rose looked at each other, giggling.

Alix opened the door and I saw her holding a note and a glow stick. My eyebrows furrowed at the sight of a glow stick.

I think your asking out needs a little work Kim. "Alix?", she turned to us. "Me and Rose should go, we'll see you later", I said walking out the door.

I pulled out my phone to be met with 37 text messages from Kagami. What the heck was going on?
