You staggered through the icy snow, holding your arm in front of your eyes to protect them, but getting your clothes drenched and wet in the process. You were almost to a Statue of the Seven, almost to safety. You wouldn't have to worry about this infernal cold back in Mondstadt. The only thing you would have to be worried about there was overly flirtatious men.
Wait... through the mist... was that a person lying on the ground?
You rushed closer to examine what you thought was just a mirage, and you found that it was actually a boy your age, 16, and he had been out there for a long time. His skin had already paled, and blue veins were visible through the surface. His lips were dark purple, and it looked as if he was about to die. He also seemed to be half wolf, with long tangled silver hair and narrowed amber eyes.
Despite your better judgement, you picked him up, holding him bridal style across your chest and running as fast as you could to the Statue of the Seven, ignoring every fall you took, even though your knees were cut, scraped, bruised, and bleeding. It didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was keeping this beautiful young man safe and keeping him alive. The cold that was hitting you didn't seem to exist anymore. The only obvious signs of it were rashes gathering on your fingertips, early signs of frostbite. You ignored those as you ignored your other wounds, mainly because you could see the Statue of the Seven in the distance, glowing with warm blue light.
You put on one final burst of speed and collapsed to the ground in front of the statue, reveling in its warm blue light. You were still tightly holding on to the wolf boy, trying to keep him warm with your slightly bulky body, which had rapidly been warming up.
You had always been made fun of in school for your above-average weight, but now you were glad that you had a use for it. You made the wolf boy comfortable, lying his head on your thick stomach and resting your knees under it so that it wouldn't slip and fall onto the ice. In making him comfortable, you lost a bit of your comfort, but that didn't matter. It never did.
The statue suddenly glowed a golden color as someone teleported into Dragonspine, right next to you. Due to those tight jean-leggings, you already knew who it was, and you weren't surprised to hear Kaeya's voice speaking to you.
"Y/n! You look like flash-frozen crab! What in the world happened to you, and why do you have Razor lying on your stomach like he's your child?"
"Ah, his name is Razor? I found him unconscious in the snow, and he looks so cute. I wanted to save his life, so I carried him over here hoping I could bring him to Mondstadt for first aid."
Kaeya shook his head and scoffed, saying, "Razor isn't welcome in Mondstadt. Nobody really likes him, because he's different. His only friend is Klee, and she's not liked very much either. The only place I could tell you to take him that would make sense is Wolvendom. He was born there, after all, and abandoned there as well. That's his home. But you can come to Mondstadt first for some help. You're nearly frozen to death!"
Suddenly, the warming flames of love and anger rise up inside you, and you snap at Kaeya.
"If you won't allow such a beautiful soul into Mondstadt, you hurt my ugly soul that is allowed inside. I won't come back to such a biased, even racist city if people I love aren't allowed in it as well. If you want to help me with medical issues, send a doctor to me in Wolvendom!"
After saying that, you stretched your hand out and wrapped it around the statue, focusing all your elemental energy into it, until a map of all the other Statues of the Seven in the surrounding areas appeared. You reached out with your mind, and your magic, to the one closest to Wolvendom, and felt it respond to you.
"Wait! Y/n!" you hear Kaeya crying out, but it's too late to turn back now. The magic spreads over your entire body, and Razor's body, making it tingle, and then, in a flash, you're by the Statue of the Seven.
Suddenly, the weight of all your wounds and the weight of the cold that had been lifted off of you came to its climax, to its full strength. Crying out with the sudden pain, you collapsed onto the ground, and lost consciousness.
Dimly, before all your feeling left, or during a brief point of semiconsciousness, you thought you felt something like fur rubbing against the skin of your cheek. But you couldn't be sure, of course...
It could just be nothing.
