A/N- This takes place a week after the events of the last chapter.

Razor would not let go of you. It was kind of embarrassing to be walking about in the streets of Mondstadt with a wolf boy hanging onto your arm for dear life, but thankfully, everyone was too tactful to mention it. Even the most gossipy of fishwives kept their mouths shut. Perhaps it was the look on Razor's face that clearly said, If you say anything about me, I will slit your throat.

Perhaps...

"Hey, y/n! How have you been?"

Kaeya's energetic voice boomed from behind you, catching you off guard. You didn't dare to respond late, though. That would convey hostile intentions.

"Hello there, Mr. Alberich," you say, speaking formally and noticing his frown. "How may I help you today?"

When Kaeya's judging gaze laid itself on Razor's back, he let go of you, and stood up to his full height- which wasn't too much- and glared up at the cavalry captain who, like usual, wasn't even a little bit intimidated.

"Come on, y/n. Formality? With a friend such as me? I find you contemptuous for that."

You scoffed at him and simply responded, "Then leave me alone. Good day."

Grabbing Razor's bare arm, you yanked him away from the fuming cavalry captain, who sought to relieve his anger by stamping his feet on the ground and yelling at young women who were passing by.

As you walked through the square and focused on the many booths and people walking around, you didn't feel Razor let go of your arm, and you didn't see him walking towards Marjorie of With Wind Comes Glory.

Until she screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Thief! Thieving boy! Return my cor lapis to me, this instant!"

You rushed to see what was going wrong, and that was when you saw Razor on the ground, backing away with a bag of cor lapis cradled between his two arms. There was fear in his eyes, and he kicked at Marjorie's leg when she tried to kneel down and take the jewels back from him.

"Razor!" you yelled, "return those jewels this instant!"

Hearing your voice, the wolf boy obeyed, hanging his head as he stalked silently back to your side.

"Razor... is sorry. Very, very sorry," he murmured.

That didn't stop you from smacking him across the face and snapping, "Never do that again! You can't just take things here! You need to pay for them!"

"Oh... I did not... know that," he responded. "I'm sorry."

You laughed and gave him a kiss on the cheek, the usual sign between you that everything was forgiven.

"Just don't do it again," you told him.

"Ah, wolfie boy and darling traveler! How are you?"

You turned around to see a witch standing behind you, resplendent in purple, holding her hat in her hands to reveal her brown hair, which had been pinned up in a pretty decent bun.

"Lisa!" you cried out, embracing her warmly.

Lisa was the librarian in Mondstadt, and notoriously lazy. Making the choice to wander the square was a big thing for her. But you always appreciated it when she did. Socializing was good for everyone, even lazy librarians!

"Master!" Razor said, letting Lisa envelop him in a haphazard hug.

"You're his master?" you said to Lisa, not understanding.

Lisa laughed and responded with a shake of her head.

"No. I was a teacher to him, though. I taught him how to manage his electro vision, and how to talk well. Although I could never get him to speak perfectly..."

"Lisa is teacher," Razor repeated. "Her lightning... very scary... very strong!"

The librarian laughed shyly and said, "Surely it's not that bad! And your lightning is ten times stronger than mine. Anyways, do you want to come to the Knights of Favonius headquarters? I can serve you tea in my library. And we should catch up!"

"Yeah, sure!" you said.

But Razor had a different opinion.

"No. Now is time for exploration, not tea."

"Alright," you told him. "But don't get hurt, and don't get into trouble. Okay?"

"Too much... to ask," he joked.

Noticing your dead serious expression, he quickly said, "Yes. No... troubles... for you."

You gave him one last kiss, then headed up to the Knights of Favonius headquarters with Lisa.

Turning back, you saw him sticking himself head first into a platter of assorted meats, with a confused and concerned chef staring at him with two pea-shaped eyes.

Oh dear. This was NOT going to be a great day for your wallet.
